That's What You Get, Goldilocks!

(Film Noir) Chloe sits alone at a table in a restaurant, Philip approaches and asks if she's alright. She says her life is a mess. He thinks maybe he can help. She looks for some change in her purse and laments that she's broke. He says he might have a job for her. "Can you cook?" She says no, but she can sing. She asks for a chance to show what she can do. Soon, he offers her a full-time job singing in his place. He takes in her floral dress and glasses and tells her she'll clean up just fine!

(Film Noir) Chloe pays Lucas a visit to tell him that she has a new job. He tells her to keep her nose clean, and asks if she's doing anything she's going to regret. She denies that she is doing anything wrong, telling him that her heart belongs to only one man. They kiss.

(Film Noir) Lucas arrives back at his office to find Chloe looking like she is about to jump out of the window. She claims that she was just getting some air. They share a drink and she confesses that she quit her job. He wonders if Philly K. put the moves on her. She says he was a gentleman the whole time. She says she gave it up because she had everything but him. He tells her that's music to his ears and they kiss. She asks, "What about your wife?"

The Dr. Phil Thing's Not Working!

At the Horton cabin, Chloe and Lucas have Allie put to sleep and start enjoying their 'alone time'. They head outside for a shower together. Allie starts crying and Lucas seems frustrated. They go to get her and Lucas wonders why she is crying so much. Chloe notes that she may be sick. Lucas says she probably misses Sami, but Chloe points out that life without Sami will be much calmer, and Allie will realize that before long! Lucas tries to soothe Allie for awhile, but soon it appears that she may keep them up all night. Chloe asks to take a turn while he gets some wood. She takes Allie and sings to her. The crying stops. Chloe leaves the little girl for a moment to go rinse her hair.

Sami arrives at the cabin while Lucas is out getting wood and Chloe is rinsing her hair in the shower. Sami's jaw drops as she sees Allie. "Did they leave you here all alone?" She picks Allie up and starts talking to her. EJ arrives and tells her she needs to get out of there before she compromises her custody! She tells him to notice that they've left Allie all alone. He wonders if she is planning to kidnap her daughter. She protests that she certainly is not - she just wanted to see her! Lucas comes in just then and says that Allie is fine and if Sami doesn't get out of there, she's never going to see her again! Lucas starts hollering at her to put Allie down. Just then, Chloe runs in, wondering what is going on. When Sami accuses them of leaving her daughter all alone, Chloe says she just went to rinse her hair. Lucas tells Chloe that could have waited. But at that moment the police arrive looking for Sami, saying they got a call that she was violating a court order! EJ sighs, and Lucas says, "Way to go Sami. I'm one step closer to getting full custody of Allie!"

A Boy Can Dream!

Lucas and Allie arrive at the Horton cabin and he tells her that he is going to be a huge part of her life now! He says they'll make some magical memories. Suddenly, a seasick Chloe walks in. "I can't believe I let you talk me into this!" He hands her the baby, while he goes to look for medicine. Soon, Allie goes to sleep and Lucas and Chloe look through an old photo album. They laugh about the old hairstyles and an old photo of Lucas. He says it's from when he found out he was a Horton. He looks at Chloe and they begin to kiss. After making love, Lucas heads out to get firewood for after the sun goes down. As soon as he leaves, Allie starts crying! When Lucas comes back, Chloe laments that she doesn't have a maternal bone in her body! "This isn't going to work." Lucas tries to reassure her. "Give it some time, and you'll get used to each other." Chloe isn't very optimistic.

Joint Custody!

Lucas, Chloe and Kate arrive in the pub and as they sit down, Kate has a coughing fit. She then tells Lucas that he is free of Sami, and shouldn't get into another doomed relationship! Chloe rolls her eyes. Chloe tells Lucas she's not sitting there listening to his mother trash her. He asks her to go get the keys for the boathouse. Kate says she blames Chloe for what happened to Brady, but Lucas says she's not responsible for that. Kate then raises the issue of his custody battle - the judge will look into every aspect of his life. "Chloe's not mother material." Lucas points out that neither was she! He tells her to let him make his own decisions. Mickey arrives at the table just then to alert Lucas that the judge will be making a decision by the end of the day. He points out that Sami is sitting across the pub! Sami comes over and they are soon arguing about him taking Chloe to the Horton cabin. She says that if he gets visitation, she doesn't want Allie anywhere near Chloe! Lucas says she may be her step-mother one day, so she'd better get used to it! Nearby, Mickey briefs Kate on a business venture and she erupts in coughing again.

Chloe runs into Maggie at the park. Maggie gives her the keys for the boat and boathouse. Chloe asks if Lucas told her that she is going with him. Maggie says he did, but noted that he was having a heated discussion with Kate. Chloe says she just wishes that Kate would leave them alone. Maggie notes she is very protective! Chloe tells her that Lucas's long history with Sami is aggravating. Maggie says she can relate - she fell in love with Don Craig when she was married to Mickey, but he was presumed dead. She says that Don was a rebound guy, and Chloe wonders whether Maggie thinks Lucas may be her rebound. Maggie says only Chloe knows that for sure. Chloe sighs and says she only knows that she cares about Lucas. Maggie asks if she has moved on emotionally from Brady, and if Lucas has moved on from Sami. Chloe feels that she has, but isn't sure about Lucas. Maggie encourages her to take the time at the Horton cabin to sort everything out. Chloe thanks her, and Maggie leaves.

Nicole arrives at the park. She tells Chloe that she saw her talking to Maggie Horton. Chloe says she was giving her relationship advice. Nicole rolls her eyes and drags Chloe to the pub for a drink! They arrive just in time to hear Lucas declare to Sami that Chloe may become Allie's stepmother! Nicole says, "Looks like he's signed you up for mommy-duty!" They sit down at the bar and Nicole tells her not to worry - it's not so bad! Chloe worries that she isn't ready to be a mother to Allie, and that things are moving too fast! Nicole urges her to talk to him, Chloe doesn't want Lucas to have to choose between her and Allie. Just then, Lucas approaches and asks to speak to Chloe alone. Nicole takes off. Chloe gives him the keys, and he tells her if he wins the custody decision, all three of them can go to the cabin together. Chloe says she won't be going with him. She says he needs to be with Allie alone.

Bring It On!

At the DiMera Mansion, Stefano ruminates about how wonderful it is to be home. He asks 'Elvis' if he is working for John. E.J. confirms it, and Stefano notes that John's world is about to come down. E.J. then asks, "So how did you do it, Father? One minute you're being led out of here in handcuffs, the next, you're running around like nothing happened!" Stefano says it's due to his friends. He then tells them that they are all disowned because they shipped him off to a home and didn't take care of him! Suddenly, Lucas and Chloe enter the house. Lucas explains that he lives there, and Stefano hollers, "What the hell is John running here? A hotel?!" Lucas says he's moving out and heads upstairs to pack. Just then, the doorbell rings. Stefano rolls his eyes and asks Tony to get it. It's Victor. He and Stefano greet each other and Stefano asks E.J. and Tony to give them some privacy. Victor asks Stefano if he is here to stay this time. "Never thought I'd say this, but it's a pleasure doing business with you, again." They chuckle over how it's just like old times! Victor thanks Stefano for telling him that John was hiding Paul and that he escaped. Stefano says he will ask a favor in return someday. Victor then asks why Stefano would go out on a limb for John. Stefano says the move was all about control.
