Give Me My Happy Ending!

Chloe and Daniel are making mad passionate love. Chloe lays back and declares that it was amazing, but it's actually Lucas who is laying beside her! He wonders where she gets all that passion from. Chloe says she feels safe and secure with him, and he truly made her feel like he was part of the family at Christmas. Lucas admits that he loves her so much sometimes it hurts. Lucas asks Chloe to come visit Kate with him but Chloe tells Lucas he deserves to have alone time with his mom. Lucas appreciates that suggestion, saying Chloe is truly unselfish, but Chloe insists that is not true and never will be. She hurriedly leaves the cabin.

Chloe is at the hospital for a check up and tells the nurse that she will be seeing another doctor since Dr. Jonas hurt his hand. Daniel walks in and says his hand is fine, and that he got called in. With obvious tension between them, Daniel tells Chloe she looks good. Chloe changes the subject by asking him about Kate. Daniel says Kate is doing fine, and starts to check her out. Chloe admits it's time she came clean and says she feels very strongly about getting a different doctor because it’s awkward since he's seeing Kate and she's engaged to her son. Daniel says he will see if he can get Dr. Johnson to take over and leaves the room. Outside her hospital room, Daniel gives Chloe’s charts to a nurse and says that Chloe will be seeing Dr. Johnson for all future check-ups. Kate walks by asks Daniel why he took himself off of Chloe’s case. Inside her room, Chloe tells herself she did the right thing.

A Woman Scorned!

Chloe bumps into Stephanie at the Brady pub. Stephanie congratulates Chloe on her engagement and asks if she started planning the wedding but Chloe quickly dismisses the subject. Stephanie tells Chloe how great it is that she donated her marrow to Kate and how hard Kate's illness has been on Philip. Chloe bluntly asks if Stephanie and Philip are seeing each other. When Stephanie says they are, Chloe tells her they need to talk. Chloe reminds Stephanie that Philip was her first love but Stephanie doesn’t see how that concerns her. Chloe tells an annoyed Stephanie that she’s probably Philip’s rebound and that maybe Philip is hers too. Stephanie accuses Chloe of still having feelings for Philip but Chloe reassures her that she’s happily in love with Lucas and that Stephanie needs to understand something. Annoyed, Stephanie tells Chloe her concern seems fake. Chloe stands up to leave but Stephanie asks her what she needs to understand. Chloe reminds Stephanie that she broke Philip’s heart when she left him for Brady and that Philip isn’t the same person he once was. Chloe reassures her that she just wants her to be careful for both of their sakes. Stephanie questions Chloe’s feelings about her engagement to Lucas but Chloe affirms that she’s thrilled about her engagement. Chloe leaves to check on Allie and Caroline.

Brady runs into Chloe at the door of the DiMera mansion. She explains that she was there dropping off Allie. Chloe tells Brady not to bother going in since Nicole isn’t there. Brady asks Chloe why she thinks he’s here for Nicole. Chloe says that she knows him and he doesn’t like to be alone, but she questions his motives with Nicole. Brady reassures her that he’s not involved with Nicole, and he’s just worried about her. Chloe says Nicole hasn’t been acting like herself. Brady gets a phone call but ignores it and tells Chloe that he better be going. He kisses her cheek and wishes her a Happy New Year. Chloe reminds him to be careful with Nicole and not to get on her bad side when she’s the woman scorned.

Santa's Surprise!

At home, Kate asks Daniel if he's going to be alright with Chloe being there - it's obvious they don't like one another! Just then, Chloe walks in. Lucas is right behind her, fussing. He is taken aback when she questions Daniel's presence. Lucas points out that they were all on the front line of Kate's battle. When Daniel and Kate leave the room, Lucas tells Chloe to chill out - it's Christmas!

Brady and Philip face off in a room at the Kiriakis house. Philip isn't happy about Brady's appointment at Titan. Daniel walks into the room with Kate and she asks them what is going on. Philip says that Victor has arranged the seating at the table so as to try and appease him because he's not running the company anymore! Kate urges them to get along for Christmas, and they reluctantly agree. Just then, Victor walks in. They all sit down together and share a toast. Victor asks what happened to Daniel's hand, and if he can still operate. Daniel says he slammed his car door on it, and can't operate. Lucas takes a call and leaves the table. Philip and Brady agree that there should be no phones at the table. Victor says it bodes well for the family to see the two of them getting along. Victor then starts bashing Chloe as an 'unwelcome guest' - Kate defends her heartily. Lucas comes back in and says he needs to go, and Chloe whispers at him not to leave her there - he says he'll be back soon. Kate asks Daniel to sit beside Chloe to fill the gap!

Once Philip has left, Brady walks into the front hall with Victor and Kate. He says that Philip doesn't want him there, and neither does his ex-wife! He leaves. Out at the table, Chloe and Daniel discuss how everyone is wondering why they hate each other. He says he's going to leave, but Chloe urges him to stay and work through the awkwardness. She says she admires him for saving Kate's life and for being so kind. She then kisses his cheek!

Have a Very Brady Christmas!

The traditional Christmas celebrations have begun at Alice Horton’s house. Maggie comments on the necklace from Kate and cheerfully says that Kate giving her that necklace proves that Kate is sure she’s the right girl for Lucas. Lucas, Doug, and Julie walk in and say that Alice and Mickey are watching movies with Allie. Julie notices Chloe’s necklace and Doug tells Chloe that she’s a welcome addition to the family. Chloe thanks everyone for being so nice.

Back at the Horton house, Chloe excuses herself to call her parents. She into the hallway and calls a surprised Daniel instead. Chloe tells him that she can’t talk but she just wanted to ask about his finger. Daniel tells her not to worry but Chloe says she does worry and can’t stop. Chloe explains that she was just embarrassed about what she was wearing that night at the cabin. Lucas interrupts and tells her to wind it up. Daniel overhears and they wish each other a Merry Christmas and hang up.

Back in the Horton house, Chloe looks at Alice’s photos and Lucas asks if she’d like to have that many kids one day. Julie asks Maggie if she ever thought Lucas and Chloe would end up together. Maggie says no but she’s never seen Lucas so happy. They cheerfully agree that Alice had a good idea and look at the tree. The Bradys and Carvers enter the Horton house to begin celebrations. Bo tells Hope he had a little help finding Theo, and that he’d explain later. Everyone starts the traditional trimming of the tree for Alice to see in the morning. John observes and asks Marlena why she brought him here. Marlena answers that this is what Christmas is really about. John looks at the tree in thought and finally realizes how important it is to remember. Meanwhile, Maggie and Julie give Chloe and Lucas a box of ornaments, including a new one made for Chloe. She thanks them and goes to place it on the tree next to Lucas’ but it falls and breaks. Chloe apologizes but Lucas says the only thing that matters is that they’re together. Doug makes a toast to the family and plays the piano as Chloe sings “Silent Night.”
