Sami's wedding day starts off on the wrong foot!

Lucas arrives back at Austin's apartment and Carrie leaves to go across the hall. After Lucas tells Austin that he understands why he loves Sami, Austin asks Lucas if he is still in love with her! Lucas smirks but denies it, and professes his love for Carrie. The two get set to leave for the wedding.

Will is stuck at camp, so Carrie agrees to pick up Will, while EJ brings Sami to the church.

Homecoming!

At home, Sami and Austin are working. Sami is in a bad mood. She doesn't like that the competition 'Carrie and Lucas' are living with them. Lucas and Carrie overhear their conversation and tell them that it's okay, because they're moving out. Shown is EJ, spying! Lucas decides they'll stay at a hotel, because the contractor is taking them for a ride, and they feel they don't want to overstay their welcome. EJ enters, with a proposition, to offer his help in speeding things along with the construction! All agree, and they go off to their apartment. Sami is relieved, but Sami notices Austin's disappointment, although he insists he's not disappointed in the least. Sami is thrilled as Austin agrees to move the wedding date up! Right away Sami starts planning the wedding, anxious to get things rolling!

At Lucas and Carrie's, the three start renovations. When EJ leaves for a meeting, Carrie and Lucas discuss how they both want to concentrate on each other, and their up and coming honeymoon! They're interrupted by Sami and Austin, sharing their news about pushing up the wedding date. Carrie seems surprised!

Jack comes home.

The gloved person is watching Carrie and Austin kissing. They agree, everything they do is wrong, but he wants to be with her. Austin thinks that love sucks and hurts and kisses Carrie passionately, telling her he wants to be with her for the rest of his life.

Carrie and Austin go over their obstacles, in their quest to be together. Carrie wants to be with Austin, but feels guilty about Sami and Lucas. She wants to be strong, and stop breaking her vows, so she is sorry to tell Austin that she has to deny their love. She sticks up for Sami, wanting him to see that they'd be good together. Carrie's guilt makes her try to protect everyone she cares about, and she tells Austin is staying with Lucas, and leaves.

Back at the apartment, Austin and Carrie go to bed ..." alone.

As EJ is leaving, Carrie comes out of her room and stops him. She is thankful that he is keeping her secret (About finding her and Austin making love on the rooftop.) EJ seems mysterious as he tells Carrie that he completely understands and her secret is safe with him.

Getting it all out!

At the apartment, Carrie says goodbye to Lucas, and Austin tells her that they need to talk about what happened on the rooftop. Again, Carrie repeats that it was a mistake and tells Austin her concerns that EJ, might tell Lucas and Sami that he saw them making love.

Carrie pretends that she's headed for bed, while Austin fakes a business call, in order for the duo to meet on the roof again! When the two are together, Carrie apologizes to Austin for stringing him along. She points out that she's married to Lucas and he is engaged to Sami- her sister! She goes on to remind him that she has already broken his heart twice! (She is referring to her affair with Mike Horton, and her marriage to Lucas). Austin and Carrie agree that both Lucas and Sami deserve better, in fact he thinks that they still love one another, but Carrie disagrees, insisting Lucas doesn't want to be with Sami.

Love and lies!

Carrie and Austin walk in on Sami and Lucas holding one another, in her living room. They can't speak, when asked where they've been. EJ comes in the door, as Austin explains that he was at the bakery. Carrie explains that she was on the balcony, and the fire escape. The group eats bagels, drink coffee, and discuss the different conversations that Americans have as opposed to Europeans. EJ tells everyone how romantic Paris is, and Lucas jumps on the idea of going to Paris soon. Sami and Austin jump on the bandwagon, saying they'd love advice on where to go on their honeymoon. Privately, Austin thanks EJ for not letting in on the fact that he saw Carrie and Austin making love on the roof. EJ explains that it was purely selfish on his part. Austin tells EJ that while he cares for Sami, he knows 'she's no Carrie'.
Carrie and Sami discuss motherhood, and Sami tells Carrie that since she is his Step-Mom now, he will need her. Sami comforts Carrie when she gets upset about not being able to have children.

In the living room, Austin and Carrie privately tell each other that they need to talk, while elsewhere, in the same room, Sami tells EJ that they're all going to be happy. She stares at her sparkly ring, telling EJ that she's not going to ruin her life by telling Austin about her mistake.
