Things start unwinding!

After they've all told Sami how gorgeous she looks in her gown, Marlena and the bridesmaids leave to go down the aisle. Sami gets a call just as she is about to walk down the aisle. She thinks its Eric, but soon realizes that it is the blackmailer! The voice tells her, "If this wedding happens your secret will be revealed." She comes back with, "You can't do this to me." But the voice threatens her son.

The wedding is on!

At the church, Marlena and Carrie fawn over Sami's dress. Carrie tells Marlena that Sami is with EJ, and they hope that she isn't in any trouble.

In the groom's room, Lucas helps Austin get ready for the wedding. Lucas tells Austin that he can back out at any time, but Austin is committed. He goes to tell Sami that he loves her, but Lucas tries to stop him. When Austin gets to the bride's room, Carrie comes out, and lies that Sami isn't able to come talk to him, because she's having her hair blown out, and is listening to her MP3 player.

Kate arrives at the church, and tries to get Austin to believe that EJ and Sami have run off together! Chelsea agrees with Kate, but Carrie sticks up for Sami, telling the ladies that she'll be there! The look on Austin's face shows that he isn't altogether convinced, but tells everyone that he is sure that Sami will be there.


Kate thinks to herself that 'come reception time, Austin will still be single', and then she'll break out the champagne!

At the church, Carrie and Marlena are convincing themselves that Sami will be there at any moment, thinking she must have stopped to get an all over tan or something. Marlena asks Carrie how she is doing, in regards to Samantha marrying Austin. Carrie can't hide her feelings, and is honest with her step-mom. They both feel that they've missed out on helping each other through recent tough times. Marlena wonders if a part of Carrie wishes that this wedding won't happen. Marlena reminds how much of a good sister Carrie can be to Sami, thinking that she's playing martyr by not being honest with her feelings for Austin.

At that point Sami and John burst in, and she announces that she is ready to marry Austin!

A surprising arrest is made!

At the church, Billie and Chelsea meet Carrie. They all wonder where Sami is. Billie finds it difficult to believe that Sami, who has been chasing her brother for years, is late for her own wedding, to Austin!

Chelsea complains how she doesn't like the dress that Sami picked out for her, while Carrie wishes she had EJ's number. At that moment, she gets a call from Sami.

At the vacant house, Sami uses EJ's phone to call Carrie. When she gets through she explains that they're stuck, but EJ's phone died, and Carrie doesn't hear her.

Back at the church, Carrie starts to worry about Sami, but Billie reminds her sister-in-law that Sami is with the best driver in the world, so she's probably fine. Billie doesn't see this as a problem because she feels that Austin and Carrie should be together. Billie tries talking Carrie into realizing that she and Austin belong together while Lucas and Sami belong together. She implores her to listen to her heart, before it's too late.

Back inside the bride's room, Carrie tries to change the subject of she and Austin, but Billie is relentless. Finally, she gives up, when Carrie mentions Billie and Bo's situation, and goes to find out what Chelsea is up to. Carrie calls Marlena for help.

Sami's wedding day starts off on the wrong foot!

Austin is at home getting ready for his big day ..." the wedding! Carrie and Lucas enter the apartment, surprised to hear that Sami has slept overnight at EJ's.

At Austin's apartment, Carrie, Lucas and Austin are discussing the wedding. Lucas agrees to go over to EJ's place to see how Sami is doing.

Carrie stays behind to help Austin with cufflinks and refuses to let Austin see her bridesmaid's dress. The two discuss how they've both cheated on their spouses, but Carrie brushes the thoughts away, telling Austin that she knows he is going to make her sister happy, and gives him a hug.
