A devastated Lucas learns the truth!

Sami heads up to the rooftop. She is shocked and angry at what she sees and calls her sister a cheater. Austin explains the relationship between he and Carrie. Sami freaks out, wanting to know how she could do this to Lucas.

Carrie and Lucas talk alone and he tells her they're through. Austin deserves her. He asks her if she'll ever stop cheating, since this is the second time she has cheated on someone.

Up on the rooftop, Carrie cries as she removes her wedding bands. Austin comes in to Carrie and is a little upset that she slept with Lucas but he understands and blames himself!

Austin and Carrie let things go too far - Lucas catches them!

At Dune, Austin and Carrie get a drink. They've passed out a thousand flyers and are heartbroken that this is happening. Austin tries to touch Carrie but she pushes him away. She reminds him that they can't be together yet.

Lucas walks into Dune to find Carrie and Austin sitting having a drink! He's not happy that they're "chilling out drinking cocktails" while Will is missing! They tell him that they finished posting the posters and sat for a moment and apologize. Lucas understands and is just tense he says.

Back at Sami's place, Carrie explains where they were and Sami understands. Carrie and Lucas go home to get some much needed rest and Austin stays with Sami for the night.

Sami is thankful for Austin staying with her. Austin is tense and Sami wonders if he and Carrie were off somewhere talking about getting together. She tells him that Lucas needs Carrie right now and is thankful that the two didn't make any plans towards getting together because she worries about Lucas. Austin needs time alone and goes up to the rooftop to think.

In bed, Carrie and Lucas stat to make love after he thanks her for her love and support.

After Lucas falls asleep she goes up to the roof and sees Austin there using the punching bag. She runs to him and kisses him passionately

Lives are spinning out of control and lies are unravelling!

Carrie and Austin have made love on the rooftop again, and are ecstatic to be in one another's arms. He wants to be careful how they come clean with their affair.

Lucas is outside Sami's door with a bottle of champagne, and Sami is with E.J. freaking out about Will. As she lets Lucas into her apartment, E.J. runs off to see what else he can find out about Will's disappearance. Sami refuses to tell Lucas anything until they know for certain that he is missing. Sami tries to get Lucas to leave, but he knows her well enough to know that something is up! She starts to freak out and tells him that Will has disappeared and she blames herself! Just then, Carrie and Austin walk in. Sami explains about the anonymous phone call and she and Lucas have a screaming match, until Austin calms them. She comes clean with the blackmailing, and everything that has happened. Lucas forces her to call Roman.

The gloved person strikes again!

Austin and Carrie are still on the rooftop, and he tells her he isn't denying his feelings for her any longer. He wants her to be honest as well! He admits that Sami told her the reason that she won't marry Austin is because she knows they're in love! Carrie is in shock, but Austin tells her that it's no surprise! Carrie feels terrible, but Austin tells her that if it were his last day on earth, he'd want to be with her.

Carrie is frustrated, telling him that she made a commitment to Lucas, but when she's asked who she wants to spend the rest of her life with, she replies to Austin that it's him! The two share a passionate embrace and kiss! Carrie needs to tie up loose ends with Lucas, before they start anything, and she pulls away. She starts to tell him that since she can't have kids, she wonders how he'll feel about being with her, knowing she can't have them. He reassures her that they can adopt. Carrie agrees that they belong together, and the two begin to make love!!
