Face To Face With Stefano

When the EMT arrives at the DiMera mansion, Tony refuses to allow them in. As they argue, EJ tells Sami that they need to get in now, or get in the ambulance, because otherwise, they won't get to see Stefano, because Tony will have a guard set up at the hospital. Tony finally agrees to let the EMT into Stefano's room, and has Dr. Rolf take them upstairs. Outside, Sami and EJ agree to wait until the EMT brings Stefano out on a gurney. Their plans are intercepted by a gun wielding Bart, who tells them they're coming with him. Bart brings them into the mansion and Tony demands to see their cell phones. He finds a call made to the EMT on EJ's cell phone and says he's not surprised. He demands to know what EJ is up to, and EJ says he wants to ensure his father is properly cared for. Tony starts to tell Sami that EJ is developing a schoolboy crush on her, but he stops when he hears Dr. Rolf yelling at the EMT, as they take Stefano to the hospital.

The EMT rolls Stefano out of the mansion while Sami and EJ make an escape through the back door. Tony swears, when he realizes that EJ and Sami are gone, and blames Bart for going off to snack while he was supposed to be doing his job.

Dr. Rolf Poisons Sami

EJ stands at the scene of the crime, remembering Sami begging for him to help her. Tony shows up and EJ asks what his plan B is for killing Samantha, and when Tony doesn't answer, EJ demands that he call off his thugs and threatens to kill him if he refuses. Tony laughs and then asks if Samantha's dead, but EJ tells him that he knows full well that Samantha's alive. "Otherwise, you'd have taken her body for the stem cells." He says, knowingly. He reminds Tony that he wants that truce; butTony tells him he has a nerve. "You cut ties with the family for someone worthless as Samantha Roberts? What is it about that spoiled brat that gets you begging to save her pitiful soul?" EJ reminds his brother that he's going to be a father, and refuses to sacrifice Samantha for anyone. Tony accuses him of turning into a love sick puppy and calls him the bane of Sami's existence. EJ quietly retorts, "That would be you." Tony asks EJ to throw in the towel, because Samantha will never be his. EJ replies, "Look who is talking!" He paces as he reminds Tony of Kristen Blake and his failure with her. "It turned you into this bitter soulless creature who lives to do nothing but destroy and hate, but that's not me." He says and then calls Tony one of a kind. Tony smiles and takes it as more of a compliment. EJ tells him that he's not fooling anyone and considers him to be envious and jealous. "I fathered a child. You could never do that, could you? EJ torments his half brother. Tony laughs and reminds him that he was conceived so that Kristen could hang on to John Black. EJ is starting to get to him, so Tony turns to leave, but EJ keeps at it. He reminds him that he has nothing but hired thugs to keep him company while - EJ, he has everything. Tony picks at him and reminds him that he's a rapist and that Sami is trash. EJ gets in Tony's face and yells, "You watch your tongue!" Tony sniggers, "I struck a nerve didn't I?" EJ threatens Tony again and then tells Tony that it'd be a grave mistake to underestimate him, and then Tony tells him he'll arrange a meeting with Stefano. He reminds him that if he doesn't give him the stem cells, he'll be sorry. Tony advises EJ to meet Samantha at the hospital." She's in room 210. I'd go there now. Something tragic could have befallen her …" he hints. EJ makes a run for it, while Tony laughs maniacally. Bart comes out of the car and Tony tells him it's time to make 'that call'.

Tony and Bart arrive home, and Tony looks at a photo of EJ and damns him for telling him what to do. He crushes the photo and asks Bart not to clean it up. Tony tells Bart that the threats mean nothing. "EJ means nothing." He promises to grind EJ into dust.

Batman And His Boy Robin!

John and Bo show up at the DiMera Mansion and Bart opens the door. "Well well well, if it isn't Batman and his Boy Robin!" Bo asks Bart to get Tony, and when Bart makes more wise cracks, Bo grabs him and demands that he do it now.

As Bart goes off to get Tony, the men wander through the house thinking it was decorated by Satan. When they hear a horse neigh, they go into the morning room, only to find Tony on a horse (Napoleon), inside the room! Bo calls Tony 'crazier than ever', but Tony says he prefers the word 'eccentric' and says he's the same as the next man. "Sure you are, if the next man is Stefano…" John sniggers. Tony wants to get down to business, so Bo asks him what he did to Sami. Tony laughs in their face, so John grabs him. He relaxes his hold and Tony toys with them. Bo explains that Sami disappeared on her way to the University, but Tony doesn't appear to care.

Bo admits that he knows that EJ kidnapped Sami and took her to the warehouse where he threatened both of their lives. John asks where Sami is, and Tony plays with them and calls around the house.. "Sami? Maybe she's under the sofa… Sami?" Bo and John sign weary sighs and they say that they'll go find Stefano, upstairs. This grabs Tony's attention and s they head to the stairs,Tony yells for Bart. Bart arrives and noticing Bo and John on the stairwell, he asks his boss, "You're not letting them up there to see Stefano, are you?" Tony is annoyed and says, "I forgot how stupid you were, Bart!" John smiles and says he did as well. Tony asks Bo where his search warrant is, and this puts the search to an end. The men leave as Bo threatens Tony.

Drugged & Left For Dead

Back at The Brady Pub, Marlena tells Sami how proud she is of her, after Sami decides she's going to go to the University to meet with the professor. Once Sami is outside, "someone" bumps into Sami, and out of the blue, Sami staggers, and drops onto a bench unconscious! Bart Beiderbecke (You'll remember him as 'the' DiMera Henchman, in the past.) has drugged her! "Sorry blondie, but we're going for a little ride!" he says as he pops the lid back onto a syringe.
