Shot, Dead and Buried in an Unmarked Grave!

Thursday, September 25 2008

Bo finds Roman looking at a cold case of a missing child. They discuss Hope, who thinks Roman is upset with her for turning down the position of police commissioner. Roman turned it down, too. He's not upset with her. He's worried that the Mayor will put in a DiMera associate and if that happens, he'll quit. Bo will as well, he says. Roman asks Bo to take the job. Roman thinks he's the best man for the job. Roman calls the Mayor's office to recommend Bo as police commissioner! Bo doesn't want the job but Roman tells him that if Bo took over, he'd love it. Caroline arrives, upset. She tells the men she is worried sick about Max and his vendetta for Trent. She worries he'll go after Trent. Max is impulsive as Bo is. He takes things into his own hands. Roman promises they'll both take care of Max, and asks her to calm down. She can't! Bo and Roman will take Max for dinner, and talk, but Caroline says it's not good enough. They have to do something about Trent. "Get him to leave Salem." Roman calls Caroline irrational, but Caroline points out that he's a criminal. Bo retorts that it happened on foreign soil. Their hands are tied. "Really? Well, mine aren't," she says and stomps off.

You Disgust Me.

Monday, September 22 2008

At the pub, Bo, Kayla, Hope and Steve blast Max for attacking Trent. They ask him to apologize, or he may end up in jail. Max refuses. He doesn't feel sorry for what he did. Melanie yells again that she'd kill Trent with her bare hands, if she could. Trent denies pimping her out. She retorts that if Max's friend didn't come when he did, Claude would have raped her. Bo, Max and Steve go to Melanie and claim not to have seen the attack. A disgusted Caroline kicks out Trent. She cannot believe that he didn't protect his daughter instead of using her to pay off a gambling debt. Melanie starts to cry and runs out of the pub, with Nick following. Caroline continues her rant. It makes her sick that he's Max's father. Steve tells Trent to leave, but Trent tells the family that Melanie is a pathological liar. Max rants that Trent is a sick SOB. Trent yells that nobody runs his name through the mud, and leaves. Nicole and Victor arrive and overhear the conversation.

Bo tells Caroline to stay away from Trent, and Hope tries to relax Caroline, while Bo goes to Victor. Bo explains the incident with Max and asks if it's true that Trent is Max's father and he tried to prostitute his daughter? Bo says that unfortunately it's true, but he's there to talk about Nicole, not Max. Nicole takes Victor outside and Bo goes to Hope and lets her know that Nicole wants to tell Victor on her own.

Back inside the pub, Steve, Kayla and Stephanie discuss Trent. Steve wishes he'd have gone to Paris and asks why Stephanie didn't call him. Stephanie explains there was no time. She's worried about Max. Talk gets back to Melanie and Stephanie admits that she thinks Melanie is going to be trouble.

A miffed Chelsea enters the pub and Stephanie goes to her and asks what's wrong. Chelsea says, "Melanie's out there crying on Nick's shoulder. Could it be any more obvious?" Stephanie explains what just went down and Chelsea apologizes, but calls Melanie's tears pathetic. "You know you can admit that you're jealous," says Stephanie. Chelsea says she simply doesn't want to see Nick get hurt. She cares about Nick. They're friends and she doesn't think Melanie is right for him. Stephanie thinks she ought to let this go, unless she wants to get back together with him. Chelsea goes to Nick and asks if he's alright. "I will be, once I get Trent away from Melanie," he says, and leaves. Nearby, Bo asks both Max and Caroline to stay away from Trent, but Max can't make that promise. "I don't make promises I can't keep," he says.

Victor goes to Hope and Bo and is happy that Nicole came clean. He thinks it's nice to have some good news for a change and admits Kate was in the hospital. Chelsea is worried, but Victor explains that she has a cough. Chelsea wants to see her, and will head to the hospital tomorrow. Victor tells Bo that he won't press fraud charges against Nicole, but he will force her to pay back all of his money. He blames Trent for all of this. He's pleased that he got what's his but it doesn't forgive what Trent did to Nicole. Chelsea takes a seat and explains to Bo and Hope all about what happened in Paris and how he pimped Melanie out and how Nick got shot. Bo goes to make a call while Hope comforts Chelsea. She says it was awful when she saw Nick all bloodied. All she could think about was how she could lose him. Hope realizes Chelsea still cares about him. Chelsea shrugs. "We're friends." Hope asks, "You still love him, don't you?"

Nearby, Max introduces Melanie to Caroline. Nick explains the pub is a local landmark and Melanie says it has a lot of character. Caroline wants her to feel at home and calls her family. Melanie's thankful. Max asks Caroline to look after her and leaves to the kitchen. Stephanie watches and follows him there, but returns to her table, shortly thereafter and tells her parents he's gone. Meanwhile, Caroline brings Melanie up to her room to get settled.

Pulling the Strings.

Trent calls Nicole and tells her to meet him at the pub, or he'll rat her out to Victor. He asks her to bring her checkbook. He makes another call, this time, puts $500 on a game. Max and Stephanie arrive back in Salem at the pub. They're thrilled to be home. Max thanks Stephanie for her help in finding Melanie. When Max notices Trent inside the pub, he bursts inside and says hello to his dad, then promptly punches him out! Stephanie calls Steve for help while Max yells at Trent for pimping out his daughter. When Pete arrives, Trent tells Pete that Max attacked him. "I didn't see anything," says Pete, innocently! Nick and Melanie arrive, and Trent is astounded to see his daughter, who is infuriated with him. He wants her to go home with him, but she refuses, and yells, "Why didn't you tell me I had a brother?" Trent says he had nothing to do with them and when Trent grabs Melanie, Max smashes a beer bottle and seizes Trent in one hand, while he uses the other to thrust the jagged edge of the beer bottle up to Trent's neck. Melanie encourages Max to kill Trent, while Stephanie yells, "No!" Steve, Kayla and Caroline rush out of the kitchen and yell at Max to let Trent go. Caroline yells that Pop would not approve of this. Eventually, Max lets Trent go, and Bo and Hope arrive. Bo takes Max aside and demands that he tell him what's going on, and asks Max to apologize, while Stephanie yells at Melanie for encouraging Max to kill Trent! Nearby, Nick lets Trent know how he won't be helping him in the future, and Trent threatens Nick not to spread any of this around about him, or he'll see that something happens to his prototype. He then goes to Melanie and asks if they can rise above this. He expects an apology, and in return, will apologize to her for pimping her out! Melanie refuses. "I would kill you with my bare hands if I could," she screams!

Two Sides To a Story!

Thursday, August 28 2008

Caroline makes coffee for Steve, and they discuss how Kayla is taking time off to be with baby Joe. She asks if the police have found Stefano yet. "No," he tells her. He plugs away on the computer while he talks and shares that he's creating a new website, and starting his own Private Investigation business! He doesn't have too many marketable skills. "No radio market for the blues harmonica!" Caroline congratulates him but worries about the danger. Steve promises there will be none and he's excited, since he has been doing freelance work for Salem PD. Now Kayla can cut back on her hours. They discuss middle of the night feedings and Caroline thinks Steve's a terrific father. They discuss Max. She hasn't heard from him much. Caroline assumes both kids are busy. She hopes he found his sister and that all is well.

48 Hours

Tuesday, August 26 2008

Caroline finds Chelsea at a table at the pub. Bo has told Caroline that Chelsea's doing well at work and will become a licensed therapist. She has found her calling! Caroline goes to get Chelsea a coffee and Victor shows up with Henderson. Victor's doing well, he says and they go take a seat.

Caroline goes to Victor. She wants him to leave the pub! He's not welcomed there anymore! Henderson goes off to wait in the car while Victor tries to find out what's going on. Caroline thinks Victor put their son at a terrible risk. Victor admits he knew more than he let on at the church and tells her the evidence had to do with Philip and how it cast suspicion on him for something he didn't do. It's destroyed, he says, much to Caroline's shock and anger. She thinks Victor manipulated Bo, and can't forgive him for this. She knows Bo saw Victor weakened in a hospital bed, but Victor wanted to protect Philip. "If I had to do it over…" Caroline stops him. She knows he wouldn't change a thing. Victor apologizes, he shouldn't have come. Caroline starts to cry. She realizes Victor's his own man and she can't change him. She draws the line at him dragging Bo down with him. They're interrupted by a phone call from Max. Caroline tells Victor to get out, while she takes the call.

Nearby, Nicole sits with Trent. She's annoyed again that he threatens to go to Victor with news that they were never married. Nicole's tired of the threats. Maybe they should both talk to Victor, then he wouldn't have anything over her! Trent's phone rings and he asks someone how "she" could max that card out. He tells the person to pay off the card and cancel it, then hangs up. He needs a drink! Nicole asks if his daughter Melanie maxed out his cards. "A girl after my own heart," Nicole says and thinks it looks like she'll be picking up the tab.

Caroline talks to Max on the phone while Trent listens nearby. Max tells her Nick is in Paris with her and asks her not to tell Trent that they're there. She agrees and they send their love to each other and hang up.

Bo and Hope Renew Their Vows...

Thursday, August 07 2008

Bo and Hope continue on their romantic carriage ride through the park, kissing and grinning at each other, and reminiscing about their past carriage ride in New Orleans. They arrive at the church and Hope's breath is taken away. Bo knew they'd be together forever when she first became his, in New Orleans and he wants to show her how much he loves her. He gets down on one knee and proposes. She accepts and says this means a lot to her. Bo was worried it wouldn't happen because of the whole cover up. Hope decides they won't discuss that today, and they enter the church to cheering family and friends. "We told you, you'd be surprised," yells Maggie, happily. Bo thanks everyone for being there and wishes Shawn, Belle and Claire could come. He reads highlights from a letter they sent, where they send best wishes. Doug and Caroline stand beside Hope and Bo. Doug will officiate. He says he's happy to preside over this happy occasion and remembers that he thought Bo was too much of a rebel to be trusted with his little girl. Steve and Kayla get up and reminisce. Steve says they must be in love, because they keep getting married over, and over, and over! Kayla knows it's special for each and they take a few moments to remember the wedding in New Orleans and we see flashbacks of their vows, then they talk about their second wedding. Ciara asks if she looked like a Princess and Bo tells her, "You bet she did!" They kiss, and remember that they then set sail with Shawn. We are treated to a flashback to Bo and Hope's wedding in the hospital, during the birth of Zach. Steve says that after that wedding, Hope and Bo had a Christmas Eve wedding, with all the trimmings! :)

Back at the church, Doug asks the happy couple to get the rings. Hope hasn't one, she reminds Bo, but when Bo pulls out an identical band to her own, lost one, she is shocked and touched. Lexi comes in, late, and Bo asks Ciara to give Hope Bo's wedding band, as she doesn't have one to give. Kayla notices John, wandering the church. As Bo tells Hope that the band is Shawn's, Caroline cries, happily. Bo explains Caroline gave it to him to wear as a symbol of a new beginning.

"Let this be a symbol of my promises to you and my devotion. I'm honored to call you my husband," says Hope. They kiss.

Bo says it's been way too long since Hope has worn her wedding band. Although this isn't the exact one that was lost at sea, it's an exact replica, made from the same cast. "I coaxed Mr. Andrini out of retirement, so it's just right."

"It's not just right. It's perfect," says Hope, but there is a slight difference. This one has the first date they were wed, inscribed and this date.

Bo says, "I promise to love you and honor you and keep you and comfort you in sickness and health for better for worse as long as we both shall live." Hope moves for a kiss but Doug stops them. Caroline says a prayer and Doug laughs that though they’ve stolen a few kisses already, Bo may kiss his bride. Making out ensues and clapping from the family and friends. Bo thanks everyone for coming and helping arrange things. Everyone starts to head back to the Brady homestead for a New Orleans barbeque, but Brad Baker, a Salem Spectator reporter arrives and wants to know how Bo sleeps at night.

Grounds for Divorce.

Friday, July 25 2008

Kayla opens her door and finds Caroline there. She wants to hear how Joe's first night at home has been. It's been great, Kayla says. Caroline hands her another outfit for the child and sits down so they can "have a talk". Caroline worries about Bo. Kayla's worried too, not that she knows anything. Hope's worried as well and so is Victor and Daniel and Chelsea. Kayla gets confused as the list grows. Caroline explains that Daniel doesn't allow any visitors to see Victor anymore because Bo and Philip kept upsetting him. Something strange must be going on... She tells Kayla that Victor told her to tell Bo "thank you" and she has no idea what that could mean. It must have something to do with Hollingsworth. Kayla sent Steve to get information out of Bo but hasn't heard anything yet. She fills her mother in on the Ava situation and her unresolved feelings about it. She wishes Stephanie was there and prays her brother will come to his senses. Steve comes through the door and gives "Mama Chowder" a hug. They discuss Bo but Steve tells them there is nothing to be concerned about. They prod him for answers but he repeats that there is nothing to worry about. The women decide to talk to Bo themselves and leave him to watch the baby.
