John and Marlena arrive upstairs and, after being informed of the situation, John demands that they all get out right now. Marlena refuses to budge, however, and he can't argue. Leaning into the hole, he calls down while Bo is ready to cut a wire and Hope covers her head with her hands. She suddenly tells him to pick a different wire, but keeps changing her mind about which wire to cut. Luckily, fancy face finally picked the right one and they break into laughter as the timer stops. As they kiss and count their blessings, John drops down, but when he touches the bomb, the lights start to flash again. They all drop to the floor as it explodes. Hope demands, but the figure jumps up and starts to strangle her. Doug and Julie pull them off as they continue to scream. Hope demands what to know what happened as Julie locks the door. As Hope tries to calm the disturbed woman, she stares into her eyes and talks to her until she remembers her name.
