Bo and Hope Renew Their Vows...

Thursday, August 07 2008

Back at the church, Doug asks the happy couple to get the rings. Hope hasn't one, she reminds Bo, but when Bo pulls out an identical band to her own, lost one, she is shocked and touched. Lexi comes in, late, and Bo asks Ciara to give Hope Bo's wedding band, as she doesn't have one to give. Kayla notices John, wandering the church. As Bo tells Hope that the band is Shawn's, Caroline cries, happily. Bo explains Caroline gave it to him to wear as a symbol of a new beginning.

"Let this be a symbol of my promises to you and my devotion. I'm honored to call you my husband," says Hope. They kiss.

Bo says it's been way too long since Hope has worn her wedding band. Although this isn't the exact one that was lost at sea, it's an exact replica, made from the same cast. "I coaxed Mr. Andrini out of retirement, so it's just right."

"It's not just right. It's perfect," says Hope, but there is a slight difference. This one has the first date they were wed, inscribed and this date.

Bo says, "I promise to love you and honor you and keep you and comfort you in sickness and health for better for worse as long as we both shall live." Hope moves for a kiss but Doug stops them. Caroline says a prayer and Doug laughs that though they’ve stolen a few kisses already, Bo may kiss his bride. Making out ensues and clapping from the family and friends. Bo thanks everyone for coming and helping arrange things. Everyone starts to head back to the Brady homestead for a New Orleans barbeque, but Brad Baker, a Salem Spectator reporter arrives and wants to know how Bo sleeps at night.

Flesh and Blood

Friday, August 01 2008

Hope asks Evan at Java Café if he can help find out who emailed the anonymous letter. He will pull the closed circuit video and find out. She bumps into Doug, and they catch up. Hope asks if he'd break the law to help a family member. Doug thinks it would depend on the issue. His past is no secret. He did con jobs, security fraud and broke the law more times than he cares to remember. It wasn't to protect anyone and he spent time in prison. "You cross the line, you don't forget," he says. He hates to admit he probably would break the law to protect family. No matter what, Hope can come to him, he says and wants to know what this is about. She can't tell him. She lies that it's not about Bo and Evan catches her eye, so she cuts things short. "Daddy, don't worry," she asks and tells him to come to the house for a visit soon.

Evan shows her the video of Ava using the internet at the same time the email was sent. Hope calls Roman to tell him the news. She's sure it's Ava, though there is no real evidence. Roman puts a tail on Ava. Hope hangs up. "Bo, what did you do?"

Onward and upward, Blondie!

Monday, July 07 2008

Everyone in the Brady family watches as Chelsea and Daniel make out, while Hope tries to get Bo to take it easy. Caroline notes to Victor that his talk with Daniel didn’t do much good, and when Kate arrives, she sees Daniel and Chelsea kissing and promptly passes out! Kate's brought to a lounger and Victor is upset with Chelsea since Kate just had surgery and this isn't what she needs. Bo thinks it's the heat and Hope says she's still weak. They get her some juice and Kate finally comes to. Abe and Lexi arrive, with Theo, and Lexi is surprised that Daniel got involved with Chelsea. Kate comes to and right away wants to talk to Chelsea.

Back at the Brady barbeque, it looks like Daniel's ready to head out as the rest of the family watch the fireworks.

I Don't Do Weenies!

Wednesday, July 02 2008

Doug and Julie, (AKA Betsey Ross and Uncle Sam!) putter around the yard while Victor greets Caroline. Victor figured she could use a friend today and Bo and Hope greet Victor and they ask if he has seen Chelsea.

Salem is experiencing a massive blackout, Hope says. But Hope thinks their house, Chez Rouge and the Pub will be fine. She speaks too soon and the lights go out. Hope and Daniel go into the house to check on the situation. Hope and Bo leave Daniel and Chelsea alone and Daniel admits he's not worried about her family's concern. They kiss passionately.

Bo and Hope go outside to check on the power as the fireworks begin. Hope's happy that Bo decided to keep his opinions to himself. Bo says sure, as long as Daniel doesn't hurt Chelsea! Chelsea and Daniel head outdoors and start kissing, thinking they're not seen but when the lights go on, everyone notices!

Fourth of July Celebrations Begin!

Tuesday, July 01 2008

In their kitchen, Bo tells Hope about the letter that they found in Paul's luggage, addressed to Morgan. Bo teases Hope about her cooking and when Doug and Julie enter the kitchen, dressed up in costume, hugs ensue. They start discussing how they've gone Green and discuss the solar panels on the house and a counter top made of sunflower seeds, a new stove, and say they've learned that this whole 'Going Green' thing is about committing to reusing materials. Hope goes to get Julie's packages at the car while Doug tells Bo to promise to be open about his health issues, next time he's ill. Bo promises, sheepishly and then tells him he's going to need his advice about Chelsea dating Daniel. They go outside and Bo explains the issue. Doug remembers Bo's past as a bad boy, and he asks Bo to back off and let Chelsea make her own mistakes. Doug says the man is rich, successful, a doctor, environmentally conscious, and doesn't know what Bo's issue is. Bo thinks Daniel is a flight risk. That's how Doug thought of Bo in the past, but he eventually came to see how Bo loved Hope. That's not the way Bo remembers it ending. "I didn't kill you," says Doug, with a grin. It's not up to Bo to decide and protect Chelsea. He says that true love always finds a way, which breaks Bo up in laughter!

In the house, Hope brings up Chelsea dating Daniel and how Bo is upset about it. Hope thought Bo would be more apt to understand because of Doug's past issues with dating Hope, but Julie reminds Hope that Bo is now the father! Julie thinks Bo sees some of himself in Daniel and she also remembers that Doug was a bad boy in his day. Hope's worried that Daniel can break Chelsea's heart but Julie says worse things can happen! Hope starts to laugh when Julie thinks if two people love each other, they'll find a way. The cliché leaves Hope laughing. "It's coming from Betsey Ross," she says, laughing at Julie's costume. They go to the window to watch Bo and Doug.

Doug wonders why Bo laughed and Bo admits his costume is hysterical. He realizes he has to back off and let Chelsea do whatever it is she plans.

Fireworks tests begin as Julie and Doug discuss each of their discussions with Bo and Hope. They agree that Bo turned out to be good enough for their daughter. Nearby, Hope and Bo discuss how Doug thinks that Bo shouldn't interfere in Chelsea's love life. Roman arrives and tells Bo he has a secret ingredient for the burgers. He tells Bo to get the beer cold for him. When he returns, he and Bo will see whose burgers are best.

Doug, Julie, Maggie, Sami all put up their Christmas bulbs. Belle, Shawn and Claire hang theirs while Bo and Hope hang their own. Maggie notices that Jeremy's is broken and they agree to fix it later.
