Downstairs, Lexi wants to examine EJ and Sami. Abe and Roman prepare to break in and arrest Stefano, if he's found up there. Sami tells Lexi and Kate what happened up there, this whole time and that Marlena is responsible for paralyzing Stefano, and he is who returned the favor to Marlena. Lexi is shocked. EJ holds Sami, as Nicole watches quietly from the doorway. Sami tells Kate she's sure Lucas will be okay, but Kate doesn't think she cares.
Sami and EJ go into an examination room and Lexi stops Nicole. Though she doesn't know her well, she feels for her and if there is any way Nicole can get her brother away from Sami, she has her blessing! Nicole doesn't have the strength to fight anymore, she says. EJ returns to tell Lexi that Sami's ready. He hugs Nicole. "I didn't know you were here!" He tells her that his father is awake. She comments about what she saw on the surveillance camera. The visual is burned deep in his brain.
Lexi finishes examining Sami. She will have the results back soon. Sami worries about the others, but Lexi assures her they'll be fine. She goes to check on Sami's blood results. She bumps into a nurse, who tells her the police are about to break down the door to the seventh floor. Kate continues to worry.
Later, Nicole rants at EJ that everything he said about them getting together no longer applies, after what she saw. EJ tries to get a word in edgewise, but she won't let him. He meant all that he said to her, he says. They're interrupted by Lexi and Sami. Lexi tells EJ that Sami's fine. Her blood tests came back normal. They share a private glance between them, and Sami urges EJ to get examined. He leaves, with Lexi and Sami following, as Nicole mopes.
Lucas and Chloe find their way downstairs and are comforted by Kate, who is happy they're okay. Lucas tells Kate he knows what happened between Sami and EJ, and doesn't care! "Things will never be the same between us."
At the church, Brad Baker, a Salem Spectator reporter, tells Abe to keep better tabs on his men and Roman asks what this is about. Bo tells him this isn't the time, or place. Brad disagrees and thinks the papers will be interesting and all about corruption in the Salem PD. Caroline asks Victor if he knows what this is about. Kayla asks Steve if he knows what this is about and Roman thinks this is a misunderstanding. Brad has proof. John listens from outside the door and thinks Hope can help them. He reads the anonymous letter, but Roman points out that this is meaningless. Kate thinks she should get Victor out of the church. Abe screams at everyone to stop chattering and invites the man down to the station. Brad claims Paul Hollingsworth is dead and Bo is protecting the murderer. Brad says there is a tape recording, and Bo got rid of it. Chelsea yells that he's lying and asks Bo to say something. Abe wants to know if there was a tape. Bo finally confesses, "Yeah, there was." There is a collective murmur amongst family and friends. "Oh no…" Brad refuses to reveal his sources. He and Abe leave and Bo apologizes to the family for making a bad decision. He apologizes to Hope and Roman tells him he needs answers. Bo tells Roman the tape was destroyed and nobody else is going to pay for his mistake. He says he's covering for nobody and knew what he was doing. "I'll accept the consequences." Roman has to arrest Bo. The family follows them out and John comes out of hiding, and then crosses off something in a notebook. (Perhaps Bo's name?)
Morgan and Philip play cards, by the Kiriakis pool. Morgan wins and asks how else she can kick his butt. Morgan's mother calls, but she ignores the call. She doesn't like the way her mom's dealing with her father's disappearance and doesn't think she truly cares what happened, though she acts like it. Philip thinks she could be doing this to protect herself and be strong for Morgan. This seems plausible for anyone else, to Morgan, but she knows better. She recalls better days when her parents were in love. Her mother's family was rich and her father's family was not poor, but her father started to resent her mother for her money. He wanted to prove himself as his own man. Morgan's mother loaned Paul money to start an internet company. It failed and Mrs. Hollingsworth never let him forget it. She lost respect for him and Paul hated it. They broke up, after the tension was unbearable. Her father and she have recently gotten closer, but they were never that close, previously. She blames John Black for her father's disappearance. Philip comforts her and he agrees to call the Salem PD for information. They kiss.
Kate and Victor arrive and ask Morgan to leave them, while they discuss how the press found out about the police tampering with evidence. Philip wants to go to the church but Kate and Victor don't think it's a good idea. Morgan returns with Victor's cell phone. Victor takes the call and Kate wheels him inside. Philip decides to come clean with Morgan. While he had nothing to do with Paul's disappearance, he did threaten him, and it was caught on tape. Morgan doesn't take it well, and yells at him, then slaps him. She races out of the house and past Kate, who thinks Philip's better off without her. Kate says if he did kill Paul, they'll protect him. Philip runs off after Morgan.
Bo and Hope continue on their romantic carriage ride through the park, kissing and grinning at each other, and reminiscing about their past carriage ride in New Orleans. They arrive at the church and Hope's breath is taken away. Bo knew they'd be together forever when she first became his, in New Orleans and he wants to show her how much he loves her. He gets down on one knee and proposes. She accepts and says this means a lot to her. Bo was worried it wouldn't happen because of the whole cover up. Hope decides they won't discuss that today, and they enter the church to cheering family and friends. "We told you, you'd be surprised," yells Maggie, happily. Bo thanks everyone for being there and wishes Shawn, Belle and Claire could come. He reads highlights from a letter they sent, where they send best wishes. Doug and Caroline stand beside Hope and Bo. Doug will officiate. He says he's happy to preside over this happy occasion and remembers that he thought Bo was too much of a rebel to be trusted with his little girl. Steve and Kayla get up and reminisce. Steve says they must be in love, because they keep getting married over, and over, and over! Kayla knows it's special for each and they take a few moments to remember the wedding in New Orleans and we see flashbacks of their vows, then they talk about their second wedding. Ciara asks if she looked like a Princess and Bo tells her, "You bet she did!" They kiss, and remember that they then set sail with Shawn. We are treated to a flashback to Bo and Hope's wedding in the hospital, during the birth of Zach. Steve says that after that wedding, Hope and Bo had a Christmas Eve wedding, with all the trimmings! :)
Back at the church, Doug asks the happy couple to get the rings. Hope hasn't one, she reminds Bo, but when Bo pulls out an identical band to her own, lost one, she is shocked and touched. Lexi comes in, late, and Bo asks Ciara to give Hope Bo's wedding band, as she doesn't have one to give. Kayla notices John, wandering the church. As Bo tells Hope that the band is Shawn's, Caroline cries, happily. Bo explains Caroline gave it to him to wear as a symbol of a new beginning.
"Let this be a symbol of my promises to you and my devotion. I'm honored to call you my husband," says Hope. They kiss.
Bo says it's been way too long since Hope has worn her wedding band. Although this isn't the exact one that was lost at sea, it's an exact replica, made from the same cast. "I coaxed Mr. Andrini out of retirement, so it's just right."
"It's not just right. It's perfect," says Hope, but there is a slight difference. This one has the first date they were wed, inscribed and this date.
Bo says, "I promise to love you and honor you and keep you and comfort you in sickness and health for better for worse as long as we both shall live." Hope moves for a kiss but Doug stops them. Caroline says a prayer and Doug laughs that though they’ve stolen a few kisses already, Bo may kiss his bride. Making out ensues and clapping from the family and friends. Bo thanks everyone for coming and helping arrange things. Everyone starts to head back to the Brady homestead for a New Orleans barbeque, but Brad Baker, a Salem Spectator reporter arrives and wants to know how Bo sleeps at night.
Kate visits Victor at the hospital. They discuss what happened yesterday with Daniel jumping down everyone's throats. Kate comments that he apologized and she sees him as being wonderful, considering her granddaughter's life and Victor's. They discuss Lucas and how happy they are that he's free, but worry Philip is heading for disaster. Kate thought that since she destroyed the evidence, things would be fine. Victor thinks it'll be a moot point once Philip finds out who is really behind this. Kate decides to tell Victor that Philip got an anonymous note, declaring someone knows his secret. Victor worries and wonders what they know. They agree John must be behind this and Victor thinks John will now have him to deal with!
At the hospital, Daniel is reluctant to allow Bo to visit Victor. He allows a brief visit and leaves the room. Bo tells Victor not to worry about Philip. Victor raised a tough kid and Philip got his transfusion after they found his blood type. Victor can get his hands on as much blood for Philip's blood type as he needs but when Bo asks if he can pick it up for him, Victor refuses to tell him where it is! He thanks Bo for covering up evidence, but Bo is still angry about doing it. "Look where it got us," he says. Bo knows Hope is suspicious.
Outside Victor's room, Daniel demands to know what Kate said that almost killed Victor! She starts to tell him and he cuts her off, yelling that he had a right to life! He apologizes for his insensitivity and Kate says she told him Philip was in the hospital. Daniel says she shouldn't have. They need to keep Victor calm. Daniel will be the one to decide what his patient needs to know. "Is that clear?" Chelsea blasts Daniel for disrespecting Kate and demands an apology. Kate doesn’t want it, or anything else from Daniel! She stomps off and Chelsea berates Daniel, who tells her his patients are his priority. Chelsea continues to rant and rave at Daniel and follows Kate.
Daniel interrupts Bo and Victor. Victor needs tests run, so Bo leaves. Daniel's happy to see Bo didn't give him a cardiac arrest. He asks Victor to focus on getting well, but Victor needs to see Philip. "No, I'm sorry Victor. That's not going to happen."
Chelsea and Kate find themselves at Java Café. Chelsea's angry with Daniel but Kate thinks she's overreacting. Daniel shows up and Chelsea gives the two time to talk. Daniel apologizes to Kate for his behavior. Kate is forgiving and realizes she should have kept quiet about Philip. She was afraid someone else would have said something. Daniel will fight like hell to save both Victor and Philip, he promises. Kate knows he's under strain from their relationship, as well as his work and says his passion is what drew her to him. "Which is why I…" she trails off.
Chelsea goes to visit Victor but he's getting a cat scan. Daniel apologizes for his behavior, earlier. He blames his concern over Victor and admits this happens to him sometimes. The storm has passed! Chelsea calls Kate a forgiving lady. Chelsea agrees that this is a difficult time and both she and Victor are better for having him in their lives. They start kissing and Kate walks in.
