You Disgust Me.

Monday, September 22 2008

Back inside the pub, Steve, Kayla and Stephanie discuss Trent. Steve wishes he'd have gone to Paris and asks why Stephanie didn't call him. Stephanie explains there was no time. She's worried about Max. Talk gets back to Melanie and Stephanie admits that she thinks Melanie is going to be trouble.

A miffed Chelsea enters the pub and Stephanie goes to her and asks what's wrong. Chelsea says, "Melanie's out there crying on Nick's shoulder. Could it be any more obvious?" Stephanie explains what just went down and Chelsea apologizes, but calls Melanie's tears pathetic. "You know you can admit that you're jealous," says Stephanie. Chelsea says she simply doesn't want to see Nick get hurt. She cares about Nick. They're friends and she doesn't think Melanie is right for him. Stephanie thinks she ought to let this go, unless she wants to get back together with him. Chelsea goes to Nick and asks if he's alright. "I will be, once I get Trent away from Melanie," he says, and leaves. Nearby, Bo asks both Max and Caroline to stay away from Trent, but Max can't make that promise. "I don't make promises I can't keep," he says.

Victor goes to Hope and Bo and is happy that Nicole came clean. He thinks it's nice to have some good news for a change and admits Kate was in the hospital. Chelsea is worried, but Victor explains that she has a cough. Chelsea wants to see her, and will head to the hospital tomorrow. Victor tells Bo that he won't press fraud charges against Nicole, but he will force her to pay back all of his money. He blames Trent for all of this. He's pleased that he got what's his but it doesn't forgive what Trent did to Nicole. Chelsea takes a seat and explains to Bo and Hope all about what happened in Paris and how he pimped Melanie out and how Nick got shot. Bo goes to make a call while Hope comforts Chelsea. She says it was awful when she saw Nick all bloodied. All she could think about was how she could lose him. Hope realizes Chelsea still cares about him. Chelsea shrugs. "We're friends." Hope asks, "You still love him, don't you?"

Nearby, Max introduces Melanie to Caroline. Nick explains the pub is a local landmark and Melanie says it has a lot of character. Caroline wants her to feel at home and calls her family. Melanie's thankful. Max asks Caroline to look after her and leaves to the kitchen. Stephanie watches and follows him there, but returns to her table, shortly thereafter and tells her parents he's gone. Meanwhile, Caroline brings Melanie up to her room to get settled.

Pulling the Strings.

Trent calls Nicole and tells her to meet him at the pub, or he'll rat her out to Victor. He asks her to bring her checkbook. He makes another call, this time, puts $500 on a game. Max and Stephanie arrive back in Salem at the pub. They're thrilled to be home. Max thanks Stephanie for her help in finding Melanie. When Max notices Trent inside the pub, he bursts inside and says hello to his dad, then promptly punches him out! Stephanie calls Steve for help while Max yells at Trent for pimping out his daughter. When Pete arrives, Trent tells Pete that Max attacked him. "I didn't see anything," says Pete, innocently! Nick and Melanie arrive, and Trent is astounded to see his daughter, who is infuriated with him. He wants her to go home with him, but she refuses, and yells, "Why didn't you tell me I had a brother?" Trent says he had nothing to do with them and when Trent grabs Melanie, Max smashes a beer bottle and seizes Trent in one hand, while he uses the other to thrust the jagged edge of the beer bottle up to Trent's neck. Melanie encourages Max to kill Trent, while Stephanie yells, "No!" Steve, Kayla and Caroline rush out of the kitchen and yell at Max to let Trent go. Caroline yells that Pop would not approve of this. Eventually, Max lets Trent go, and Bo and Hope arrive. Bo takes Max aside and demands that he tell him what's going on, and asks Max to apologize, while Stephanie yells at Melanie for encouraging Max to kill Trent! Nearby, Nick lets Trent know how he won't be helping him in the future, and Trent threatens Nick not to spread any of this around about him, or he'll see that something happens to his prototype. He then goes to Melanie and asks if they can rise above this. He expects an apology, and in return, will apologize to her for pimping her out! Melanie refuses. "I would kill you with my bare hands if I could," she screams!

Nicole is on her way inside the pub when she hears someone call her name. "Misty Circle?" She turns. It's Bo and Hope. Hope says, "Or should I call you Mrs. Trent Robbins?" Nicole is ready to deny being married to Trent but Hope urges her to come clean. Nicole explains she met Trent as a student, and how he charmed her. She explains that her legal name was Misty Circle. "Thanks to my father." He made her change it, so her mother couldn't find her. She shares that Trent was physically abusive. One night after he gambled, Trent returned home and abused her, verbally, then physically. She has never admitted this, to anyone. It's what prompted her to leave. "I just assumed he filed for divorce." Hope reminds her there are legal ramifications. "You mean Victor," she says, sadly. Bo has to tell him.

The Proposal!

Friday, September 12 2008

In his office, Abe speaks to someone on the telephone about how dangerous it is to have Stefano DiMera walking around free. He hangs up and tells Bo and Hope that Stefano has certainly paid off the right people! Hope muses that she really thought they had him this time. They all wonder why John decided not to press charges. Abe laments how he has spent almost his entire career trying to bring Stefano down, and yet he's still free and living this opulent lifestyle! Bo and Hope look at one another as they note Abe's intensity. Abe acknowledges that the stress with Theo is getting to him. Just then, Lexi arrives. Hope gives her a hug before she and Bo leave. Lexi tells Abe she heard what he said about Theo. He admits that it's frustrating sometimes - he's not sure that anything he's doing with Theo is helping, and it's bleeding over into work. Lexi says she can relate to that. He wonders if they should take some vacation time. Just then, Lexi takes a call from the hospital - she's missed a meeting! She tells Abe what happened and admits she's been making a lot of mistakes lately. He takes her in his arms. Lexi says she feels like a failure, but Abe says they have to give her some leeway - Theo needs a lot of attention right now! He asks what he can do to help, but she says she'll just have to balance everything better. Just then, Lexi gets a page telling her that she has been summoned to appear before the review board!

In the police station, Bo and Hope work their computers, looking for the name of Trent's wife. Hope comes up with it - Misty Circle! Bo says the name sounds familiar. He then shows Hope that Misty Circle is a porn star! Hope wonders how he would know that. Bo grins, saying he knows, because he's related to her! He explains that she used to be his stepmother - Nicole!

A Boy Can Dream!

Tuesday, September 09 2008

Trent arrives at the pub and Nicole approaches him to tell him that Steve is investigating him. She complains that Hope gave Steve a file which indicates that they're still married! She doesn't want it to get out. He says he'll take care of it - in return for a loan. She tells him he's on his own. He mutters, "Don't be so sure, Mrs. Robbins!" She stalks away, and Bo, Hope and Steve watch him from their table. Steve notes, "He's been nosing around ever since Stephanie left for France."

Trauma Bites!

Monday, September 08 2008

Bo meets Hope at the park for a picnic. They smooch and Bo notes how much he loves this 'afternoon delight'! As she gets out the food, he asks if she is trying to butter him up for some reason. She tells him that she went to the hospital earlier to see Daniel - about Chelsea. He is mildly surprised to find out that he is the reason that she left town. Hope says they obviously had some kind of argument. Bo notes that he saw this coming. "I've gotta' talk to him." Hope warns him to let them sort it out themselves. He reluctantly agrees to stay out of it. Talk turns to the Hollingsworth case. He apologizes for dragging her into it. He worries about how the IA will rule. She says they shouldn't worry about that yet. They agree to do the park thing more often, then embrace and kiss.

Bring It On!

Wednesday, September 03 2008

Philip and Morgan are in Bo's office. Morgan wants to see Paul but Bo tells her it will take awhile. She tells Philip that she won't forgive him just because he didn't actually kill her father. Bo takes Philip aside and says just because Paul was found alive, doesn't mean they're off the hook - Internal Affairs will be asking him about the recording! Just then, John walks in. "I received a call about Paul Hollingsworth. Is there something I can do to help?" Bo asks John to just come clean about what he did to Paul. John scoffs, "Why don't you tell me why Stefano is in my house and not behind your bars after everything he's done!" Bo agrees that Stefano deserves to be behind bars. John asks what they can do about it. Abe and Roman come in and urge John to press civil charges against Stefano. Abe tells Bo it's time to talk to Internal Affairs. They leave, and John asks Roman why the D.A. isn't pressing charges against Stefano. Roman tells John that he should be more worried about himself - he is still a suspect in the Hollingsworth case! At that point, Paul is brought in and reunited with Morgan. Paul tells Philip it's his lucky day. Roman asks Paul if it's true he left town of his own volition and if it is also true that he is pleading guilty to planting drugs on John's ship and to starting the fire. Paul confirms it's all in his statement. Roman asks John to leave the room. He then tells Paul that Morgan said he told her his life was in danger when he left town. He 'theorizes' that John held him captive, but Paul says it's not true. Roman then asks where Paul got the large amount of cocaine. He urges Paul to consider telling the truth - that Philip paid for the drugs - that way he can cut him a deal! Paul tells Roman that Philip wasn't involved and he was not coerced by anyone to commit those deeds. Roman is disappointed and says he knows he's covering - he just doesn't know why. He urges Paul to think about his daughter. Paul cryptically assures him that he is! Paul is taken down to holding, but stops to say goodbye to Morgan. She begs him to tell the truth, but he merely tells her to be strong and take care of herself. Philip tries to comfort her but she brushes him off. She turns to Roman and asks him to help her father. Roman asks Philip if he has anything to say.

All Bets Are Off!

Tuesday, September 02 2008

Steve goes to Hope at Salem PD to ask if there is anything for him. He's looking for a lead on Hollingsworth. Talk switches to Bo. The investigation has them both losing sleep. Steve offers to help but he already is, she reassures him. Finding Paul would help everyone except for John, of course. Hope receives a call. "Paul has been spotted," she tells Steve, as she rushes off.

Over the phone, Stefano tells Tony that he's moving back into the mansion. Tony's surprised and says it's impossible to reclaim what's his. Bo arrives at the mansion and a weakened looking Marlena tells him Stefano is on the phone. After Stefano wonders why nobody is rejoicing at finding out he's returning to the mansion, Bo picks up and talks with him. Stefano will see them all soon, he promises and hangs up. Bo's there to talk about Hollingsworth. Marlena asks John not to let Stefano come to the mansion. John won't let him, after what they shared in her office! Bo tells John that he could face murder charges but John hasn't been accused of anything. He wants Bo to focus on keeping Stefano away from them and asks EJ to find out if the house and contents are legally his. Stefano's arrival interrupts them. "This house is mine and it's good to be back." Bo grins and arrests Stefano, and John tells Stefano to enjoy his new home, the state prison!

At Salem PD, Philip confronts Paul. Philip thinks Paul made a mistake, switching alliances. Paul doesn't care what Philip thinks. He returned to turn himself in and do the right thing for his daughter. Philip thinks he was a terrible father for sending Morgan the tape, but Paul intends on taking responsibility for his actions.

Bo brings Stefano to Roman's office in Salem PD. Steve attacks Stefano but Bo pulls him back and Roman yells at him to calm down. They're adding kidnapping to all of the other charges, he promises. Bo pushes Steve from the room and Hope follows. She needs to question Paul and Philip.

Outside Roman's office, Philip asks Morgan for an apology. She's incredulous. Philip says he was short changed. Morgan thinks her father was right. She never should have gotten involved with him. She finds Hope and asks if she can see Paul, but she can't until she answers a few questions, later. Morgan takes a seat and Philip asks Morgan to believe that he makes business threats but would never kill anyone. Morgan doesn't know what to believe. She has fallen in love with him and thought they could have something wonderful. She was wrong.

Roman tells Bo, Hope, Steve and Stefano, the DA says there are no charges against Stefano. Everyone is shocked and angered by the turn of events. Bo asks for a few minutes alone with Stefano, and although Roman would love to, he can't allow it. He has to let Stefano go.
