At Alice's house, Hope and Maggie prepare for a goodbye party for Jack and Jen. They'll miss the two. Hope is having morning sickness, so Maggie gets her some ginger ale and crackers. Hope is worried that Patrick may be a murderer, with all the evidence pointing at him. She isn't sure she can trust Bo that the evidence was not planted.
Abby helps the two get ready and Jack's parents (Jo and Vern) drop by to say goodbye! Steve drops in, later and asks if he's really going. Jack says he is, and tells his brother that each time they get torn apart they are thrown back together. Steve gives him a pipe as a going away present.
Jen says that things are starting to feel very real, and everyone is excited for them. Jack's mother, Jo breaks down crying for Jack.
Hope tells Jen she will book a flight tonight to come visit her, and Jen tells her not to forget to bring Bo! Jen tells her that Bo and she are the same people and can get through their problems.
At the party, Maggie gets out the going away presents. Maggie breaks down crying as she'll miss her niece. Jen tells her that she has always thought that Maggie was the most beautiful woman she has ever known - on the inside and outside.
Kayla and Bo show up at the party, Steve answers the door and tells Kayla he didn't know she'd be there. Kayla tells him that Jack is still her brother-in-law. Hope thanks Bo for rescuing Jack and Jen, and he says hello to Alice.
Jo asks where Steph is, but she is at a race and can't make it. She sent her mother with a gift - a book of how to survive driving in England!
Jack makes a speech, telling everyone that fate brought him to Steve and Jen and everyone else back together. He tells his brother that it's now his turn to turn to Kayla! Kayla looks at Steve a little uncomfortably. Later she comes to him to ask what he thinks of the speech Jack gave. He doesn't have much to say and wanders off.
Bo sits down with Jen and Hope and asks Hope to be with him forever but she tells him she needs more time.
Jack tells Jen it is time to go and they say goodbye to everyone. There are tears and laughter and lots of words of love. Jack dances with Abby as he hums 'Always'.
Jen says goodbye to Gran, who is crying and reminiscing over the day Jen came to live with her. She tells her Gran that she is the heart of this family. Everyone listens, smiling and crying and Gran tells Jen she will be with her always. They kiss goodbye and Jack and Jen leave for England.
At the hospital, Lexi asks Jen questions about how Jack ended up unconscious. Jen can't think of a single reason why he's in this state, so Lexi goes off to examine him. Abby runs into the hospital to greet her mom. She's frantic, but Jen explains she couldn't get in touch with her and apologizes. She explains where they were and what happened. She tells Abby that her dad needs her prayers. Just then, Lexi comes out to tell them he was suffering from hypothermia and hypoglycemia. Because of how ill he was previously, he was susceptible to this, she explains. She tells the three that Jack is officially in REMISSION! They're thrilled to pieces and share a group hug.
Frankie arrives at the hospital, worried. Jack tells him that he's fine and in remission. Frankie is thrilled for him, and they all thank Frankie, letting him know that he made it all possible.
As Jack and Abby leave the room, Frankie and an emotional Jen talk. Frankie tells Jen he knows that she's going back to Jack, and is in love with him. She apologizes and tells him she loves him very much and did want to marry him. With tears in his eyes, Frankie tells her that he knows someone is out there for him, even though she isn't her (Jen). They share a goodbye kiss.
At home, Jack, Jen and Abby are happy and they make ice cream sodas while the ready to call Maggie to get Jack junior. Harold from the Spectator calls Jack and is offered the job in London as Chief European correspondence. Jen is excited but Jack isn't so sure they should move. Abby talks them into going, as she knows it is a dream come true for them both. They both worry about Abby, wondering what she'll do, but she wants to stay in Salem with Aunt Maggie, Gran or in a dorm. Abby tells her parents she'll miss them, but she is growing up, and doesn't mind that she will be on her own. She can visit at holidays. They decide to move! London, here we come, they shout!!
Jack and Jen snuggle close in the cave. She tells him she has missed him so and doesn't ever want to leave his side again and they kiss. They talk about the future and she thanks him for tonight, which has made her feel more like herself than she has in a long time.
Jack wants to spend as much time together as possible and they make love. After, the two are talking more about being together in the future and Jack passes out.
In the woods, a rescue helicopter finds Jen and Jack. She waves to them and they come to her, helping Jack.
Jack and Jen are still in the cave talking about the past. Jack goes off to get them something to eat. He brings back berries and roots and while Jack tries to start the fire with clanging two rocks together, she hands him some matches she got at Enid's place!
She jokes that she knows he wants to build the fire caveman style, but thinks it will be easier to use matches! He starts a large fire and the two reminisce about some good times they've had together.
Jack starts to choke and Jen does the Heimlich maneuver on him, saving his life once again! The two "pull up a rock" and say their goodnights, trying to get some sleep. Jen can't sleep when she starts to flash back to making love to Jack for the first time.
