EJ is fingered!

In another part of the restaurant, Abby forces Nick to come clean about sleeping with Billie. He says, "It just happened. We connected and one thing led to another." He's positive that Chelsea won't find out what happened, and Abby promises not to tell. She asks what it was like, sleeping with Chelsea's mother. He tells her that it was incredible and made him feel like a real man. Abby wonders if this has truly changed him and encourages him to let Chelsea come to him instead of running after her, as he has done in the past. He tells her he is also going to avoid Billie at all costs. He continues to work on the Nutcracker ornament.

Abby puts two and two together!

At the garage, Nick storms out on Chelsea, after telling her, "You've bossed me around for the last time." Chelsea snickers as Abby asks her what she has ever done for Nick. She tells her that she's not a good friend to him and then she too storms out. Abby tells Nick that Chelsea deserved to be yelled at and that he doesn't deserve to be treated as a slave. He agrees but admits, "I'm still in love with her." He figures that he knows the 'real' Chelsea. Abby says that Chelsea liked it when Nick yelled at her, and urges Nick to respect himself. He promises to do so and thanks her for the advice. He has to run to take down the Christmas decorations.

Inside the office of the garage, Chelsea receives a call from her mom. She jokes that whenever she puts on lipstick, Billie calls. Billie asks her to meet with her at the Brady Pub. She has some great news to share!

Chelsea comes back into the outer garage after Nick leaves and asks where the bad boy is! Abby again chastises her for her behavior but Chelsea doesn't seem to get 'it'! Abby jokes that Chelsea will get voted off of the island if she doesn't watch it! Chelsea tells her friend that she sounds like her mom, which reminds her that she has gossip to spill. As Abby cringes, she is told that yesterday Chelsea found out that her mom was with a man. She goes on to say that she found out when she noticed his belt under the sofa! Abby looks shocked and once Chelsea is gone, she flashes back to Nick losing his belt! She mutters to herself, "Nick and Chelsea's mom? Oh my god, he couldn't have. It's so disgusting!"

The lap dog retires!

At the garage, Nick spills the beans that although he had intended on telling Chelsea the truth, he lied to Chelsea. He told her that a Dr. Shane Patton is 'Lonely Splicer'. Abby thinks he's nuts, but he tells her that the timing was off. He flashes back to making love to Billie. Abby asks him where his belt is, but he changes the subject. He promises her that he has things taken care of, but she offers to tell Chelsea the truth that he is 'Lonely Splicer'. Nick throws her feelings for Max back in her face and reminds her that she hasn't exactly come clean with her feelings for Max. She tells him that she would but she knows that he thinks of her like a little sister.

In her room, Chelsea argues with Stephanie about Dr. Patton. Stephanie thinks that he is playing her and but Chelsea disagrees. She says that she knows men and thinks that Stephanie could learn a thing or two from her. Chelsea tells Stephanie that she's spontaneous and full of life and isn't interested in taking Steph's advice until she gets a man of her own. A hurt and annoyed Stephanie leaves. Chelsea messages Lonely Splicer.

Later, Chelsea arrives at the garage to see Abby and Nick. She asks, "Nick? I need you to stop being a jerk." She reminds him of his promise to find Dr. Shane Patton. She calls him 'Nicky' and tries to sweetly beg him for help. Nick tells Chelsea to stop calling him 'Nicky' and tells her starting now, I don’t' do anything for you!" Chelsea is shocked! He tells her, "Find some other poodle to kick. I'm over it and I'm over you!" He uses her words when he tells her that he doesn't want to be her "lap dog" any longer.

Victor gets custody of Claire

At the garage, Max and Mimi continue to kiss but Max stops the proceedings when he becomes conscious of their surroundings. He thinks that Mimi deserves better than grease and dirt. They try to find a place to get romantic but have nowhere to go! They go into the office to make love, but are interrupted shortly thereafter, by Abby! As Abby notices Mimi's sweater off, she rants that next time Max should hang a tie up so that there is less embarrassment! She storms off, and Mimi leaves as Max asks Abby what's going on. Abby tells him that she feels unappreciated by him, and she angrily asks him to give her a good reason why she should stay on at the garage. Max tells her that he needs her. "We make a good team," he says, and he promises that he'll never take her for granted again. This makes her smile, and so she asks for her Christmas Bonus, which is a book of Shakespeare's Sonnets. She's happy to receive it, but gets upset and storms out when she reads the card. In it, he calls her a "Friend, confidant and the closest thing to a little sister I'll ever have." "I'm not your little sister Max, I'm a woman." She runs off.

Off the wagon

Billie arrives at the Lockhart home to find it empty. She finds a letter from Steve in a stack of letters and sits on the sofa to read it. In the letter he tries to explain the best that he can, what she meant to him. Tears stream down her face as she reads. He tells her that she was good for him, and will never forget the time that they spent together. "Neither will I," she says to the empty room.

Meanwhile, at Salem place, Abby and Nick discuss Chelsea. Nick worries Chelsea will find out who he is on her own. They go inside Java Café, where Abby tries to convince him to tell Chelsea that he's 'Lonely Splicer' before things get too far. Maggie calls Abby to ask for a reference for Chelsea. Abby thinks it would be fine to hire her. Nick agrees to tell Chelsea the truth about who he is. He says he'll call Chelsea and ask her to meet him at her house. He leaves.

I expect you to die.

In the abandoned church, Chelsea, Abby and Nick wait as the basement is searched and the soldier is brought up. Chelsea brings up her online love and says that she thinks that Lonely Splicer is holding something back. She wonders if he has trust issues or something, because can't understand why he doesn't want to meet her. Chelsea looks to Nick for answers, and demands to know why he hasn't found any information about her online love. He lies and tells her he has been helping her to find him, and Abby stands up for Nick, and tells Chelsea to give him a break. He has been busy with work and the holidays. Nick wonders if Chelsea should give up, but she can't. "He has changed my life," she admits. Chelsea goes to make a phone call while Abby tells Nick that she told him so! Nick is a little upset that he is a fake and that Chelsea likes Lonely Splicer - not him! He feels that Chelsea will be heartbroken once she finds out that he's the Lonely Splicer. Abby tries to persuade Nick to come clean. He wonders aloud if he just stops talking to her online, she'll give up on him. Abby tells Nick that Chelsea never gives up, and reminds him of how Chelsea has not given up on her parents. Chelsea comes back and Nick starts to tell the truth, but instead tells her that Lonely Splicer is in love with her. He asks her to give him some more time and that he'll eventually meet the guy. Chelsea hugs Nick happily!

The solider is brought up from the basement and the threesome is told that the skeleton is from the 19th century. They take him to the Salem Historical Museum. Chelsea leaves, satisfied after seeing the skeleton, and Abby asks Nick once again to come clean.

Christmas in Salem!

Abby sits in her car, browsing a map. She wonders aloud where Max could be. She realizes that there is a church nearby and as she hears the bells tolling, she goes in search of Max. Abby enters the church, calling out "Is there anyone here? Max. Mimi?" Max and Mimi start yelling for her. They tell her, "There is a trap door in the floor," and pound on the ceiling with a broom handle. Abby looks around and finds something to pry the door open and out pops Max and Mimi! Abby gets hugs from Max and then is crushed to witness Max kiss Mimi.

At the Brady Pub, Lucas invites Sami skiing for New Year's Eve, Hope and Bo kiss, and Belle tells Shawn how good it feels to see his parents happy again!

Max and Mimi burst into the Pub and are happily greeted by everyone! Abby gets a hug from Stephanie, but Abby is heartbroken with the knowledge that Mimi and Max are together. Steph comforts her.

The Bradys' and the Hortons' all celebrate Christmas together. Caroline and Shawn Sr. kiss, Nick comforts a subdued Chelsea, Bo and Hope kiss, and Alice looks at Tom's picture and says, "Merry Christmas my darling Tom, and to all of us that we love near to us and that are far away, may the blessings be with you now and all the days of our lives."
