Hey magicsteacher, where did this thread go? I looked a couple of pages back and didn't find it. It was on page 1 before I signed off and when I came back it was gone. Just curious... Now, on to your question. I agree. She is really obsessed with Sami & Rafe not being together. You know if my brother had lost a loved one, I would be so happy for him to find someone else to love. Especially if he was happy. But, then again, we are talking about a soap.

Ok, just watched today's epi. Yep, we do get to see a new side of Rafe, but imo, he's scared. Sami was right and called him out. After everything they've been through, this secret about Emily sent him over the edge! I can appreciate her spunk coming out again in putting him in check. This progression after Grace is somewhat a smack upside the head of reality. Now comes the hard work of familiarity, the romanticism left a little bit, especially after the makeup sex (in which I'm disappointed at how quickly it was over!) I saw afterward two people in each others arms looking very nervous and unsure...but they both know they have work to do. Very well acted. |

Forgot to mention...what is this about Emily dying on their wedding date? The plot thickens. It does,doesn't it??? I just read an interview with Galen where he tells that: SPOILER He realizes Sami isn't going to give up on finding out about Emily, so Rafe tells her that they were engaged and she dies on their wedding day, but doesn't give her any details. and I agree with you that Rafe is scared of what happened before to Emily and I think whatever it is, he is afraid it will happen to Sami, too. That is why he is afraid to tell her about it, but just gives her enough details to squelch her curiousity. Also read that Stefano will not put a plan in motion for Rafe. I thought today's episode was well done. I wondered when there was going to be some conflict with them. There has to be some, like Rafe said, they are going to fight, but neither of them can give up just b/c of it. That's true of all couples that I know of!!!! |

She simply doesn't want Sami to be another casualty. So, I'm beginning to think that she's not the bad gal here. Whatever the big "secret" is, it's enough to get Rafe acting really weird. On another thought, wouldn't it be great to have actor A Martinez as a relative of Rafe's. Man, that would be a coup! Ok, enough for tonite. |
