I just want them to leave my kids alone, that just crosses a line for me. yeah i would set up some cameras, catch him in his creepy action and bring it to the police. i don't know what else to say. we get along with all our neighbors. but my dad had these gorgeous huge cedar hedges all around his back yard. it was very private back there. then a couple years ago, my dad's neighbor that backs onto his back yard (not on the sides) decided to cut the hedges on his side ...neighbor was bitching saying he didn't want the hedges growing into his side of the property....so now..the hedges are still there but they are really thinned on the neighbor's side and you can see through them now. later my dad found out he did it so he can spy/peek into my dad's yard. my dad has a pool, he is also single, and has a 16 year son, and my husband's best friend also lives there who is also single too. so yeah there's alot of women coming and going from his house, and lots of 16 year olds coming and going and using the pool. it's not a big party house, but they do get alot of company...my dad is an entertainer and loves it. he loves making big gourmet dinners and inviting his friends over to join him.... sick snoopy neighbor!!!! so all summer long my dad makes a habit of playing his music really loud all day long. the music wouldn't have been so loud for the neighbor if he had left those hedges alone. lol... see, and there is nothing your dad can really do about it. It makes me so mad that people can do these little, seemingly harmless things and there is really nothing that can be done to stop them. I think some people just live to be unhappy. |

Quote bmes: now i'm going to rant....and I apologize in advance if there are any "older" people here that may get offended!! we just had a huge budget cut in BC, and there's some areas in the ministry that my hubby works in that people are going to lose their jobs...they won't cut my hubby's POSITION, BUT they can cut other people's jobs (like the loggers), and if they have more seniority than my hubby, they can bump my hubby, take his job and then my hubby is out of a job. but they can only bump him, if it's someone that gets cut in the same town as us. SO...there are two guys that could get cut in town here, and have the seniority to bump my hubby. now THIS is what pisses me off...up until a few years back, MANDATORY retirement was age 55. they've changed it now to NO AGE LIMIT!!! the two guys that have the potential to bump my husband are WELL OVER 55!!! AND they qualify for a FULL RETIREMENT!!!! WTF????? why can't these old farts just effin' retire already, and give the young families here a chance!!! man i'm PI$$ED!!!!! we don't know for sure yet, if these guys will get cut yet. but it has potential. the mill here is shut down, and there's no logging going on, so basically these two guys are sitting around twidling their thumbs. so they might feel they are no longer needed in that department. UGH!!! I say, they should cut back on senior staff, and let the younger generations try and move up the ranks and let them have the opportunity to further themselves in their careers!!! but nooooo....instead you wind up with all these young families scrapping by on welfare or EI, and senior managment is still working when they could EASILY be retired, growing their gardens in the summer, and vacationing south in the winter!!!! BAH!!!! I worked for the Saskatchewan Government and share your frustration. Mind you, the higher ups managed to convince a few eligable people to retire when their time was up - you can force them out if they are 65 I believe under Federal law but I could be wrong on that one. If they have full pension, they should not be bumping young people who have a family to support. I think its wrong. I can understand them wanting to continue working if they are able to but not at the expense of young people who are trying to make a living and support a family. |

Who else is an America's Got Talent fan? They're down to the top 20 semi-finalist, and results from last night will be seen tonight (NBC) 7p-9p Central. They have some excellent talent to choose from. 4 from last night will advance to the finals. |

Just for the heck of it, I went back and looked at the last pages (the 400's) of this message board. It was funny (in a good way!). It was three years ago. Just really interesting to be reminded of what was going on then and the characters that were on the show (most aren't anymore!). I didn't recognize any of the posters. Makes me wonder how long everyone has been posting on this site, it has only been a couple of months for me. Chrissi posted a whole lot more. It's too bad she doesn't post within threads too much anymore, she posted really good comments. (I know Chrissi, you are probably really busy now and it just isn't possible) |

(I know Chrissi, you are probably really busy now and it just isn't possible) It was funny reading how they were trying to quess who EJ really was, a few quessed right! Made me laugh when someone said EJ couldn't be Susan's because he was way too cute to be Susan's and Stephanos! (they did have a point there) The Lumi/Ejami debates seemed to have been just starting up. Some threads were similar to the ones now, Lucas needing to kick Kate out of his life, Bo and Hope needing to get back together, Sami needing to have some happyness in her life for a change, etc. Went a LONG time between threads needing to be closed! It made me a little sad though, so many of the characters are gone now. It was just fun and if anyone gets bored and has the time I would recommend it That is pretty cool. I like to go into the cast page and read about the characters every once in a while to see what their past storylines were. Some I remember... many I don't. |

my daughter is going to start preschool on the 15th. two days a week....ahhhhhhh man, it's going to be nice to separate her from her brother a little bit before they kill eachother...they also have a daycare there too...one room is for kids birth-3 years, and another room is 3-5 years. so if i need to i could leave my son there at the same time if i need to go to an appointment or something.... |
