GG, that was a relationship story that I haven't come across. My life has been true stories material. My "choices" in men caused many heartaches. It took me 20 years to figure that out. I have always been so honest to people and believed what they would tell me. It was a hard lesson to learn that there are a lot of lying deceivers out there.

I would love to teach young women how to avoid the the pitfalls that I went through. I didn't have anyone to mentor me who had "been there---done that" and understood what I was going through. I would get angry at those women, who would say "...I'd do this or I'd do that." They had NEVER been in my situation, if they had, they would have been giving different advice.

That is enough about me to tell thousands of strange people on this sight who could care less.

Don't blame yourself because deceivers got attracted to you. Sometimes i think it's like this men have a radar and they can sense a good women, and then well you know. I guess we all have to go through some heartaches or another. But it seems as though you have come out a stronger, more self asured women. I feel that when a women knows what she can bring to the table no man no matter how nasty, she will survive. Could be wish ful thinking on my part but I do believe that. IA that the wrong man or men can have sometimes such an effect on us, but we have to always remember to love ourselves more than we love them. You have survived that and i sure other trials and tribulations, but I know you came out of it stronger. as least you had the strengh to leave, most women hack it out. I wouldn't but not all of us are made up the same. Those daughters of yours are lucky to have such a strong mom like you. Maybe had you not made those choices in 'men" you may have had regret, and can be hard in itself. at least you went through it and you know. Live and Learn hon.

I'm apologizing in advance right now, in case I start to get annoying for the next couple weeks..ha ha...or maybe i already am annoying to some people!! lol...anywyas...

hubby's been sent on a base change for two weeks. so i'll be lonely. :-( well i'll be ok for the most part. my dad and brother are coming this weekend to visit. my dad hasn't seen our new house yet. and then after they leave, my gramma, grampa and auntie will be visiting for a few days. so i got the first week covered. not sure about the second week though.

does anyone have anything exciting planned for the weekend? i'm hoping it's going to be nice weather, so I can take my dad and brother tubing down the river.

We have a family reunion planned for Saturday, which is always fun. I do understand about being lonely though. When my husband was a police officer, he was always gone and it was me and the kids!!! Sometimes it is just hard to cope by yourself. Having no brothers and sisters, made it harder for me. My mom lived fairly close, but that was really the only person I had to count on. I truly understand your situation!!!

Tubing sounds fun! We have a church picnic planned this weekend. My hubby is finally off work this weekend. He went from laid off due to the economy to being called back to his job and working 6 & 7 days a week. Good for the wallet, but stinks in the relationship department. So, I can relate to the loneliness (except for my 2 kids, they keep things exciting) My hubby has date night planned. A sitter for the kids and dinner and a movie for us!

WHHHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! ha ha ha...i swear that phone rings in the WORST moments EVER...EVER!!!!

yeah...the tubing is so much fun!!! well right now the river has gotten REALLY low in some parts, so you have to stand up and walk over the rocks...but still lots of fun!! lol...they've also got live music in the park happening this weekend too...might have to go check that out!!

oh family reunions are so much fun!!! my great-gramma just had her 100th birthday last weekend and it was a huge party. like a big family reunion....but i missed it unfortunately. too far to go with the kids...i've done that trip with the kids before and it's soooooooo not pleasant!!!! lol...I hope you have loads o' fun!!

America, and me included voted to keep Kevin Skinner.
Who else has posivive feelings about this simple country guy besides bmes and me? I didn't think he sang as well last night as the first time but that is okay. The judges loved him too.

I think that show is gr8. He is an a hole but he does it so well, and sometimes he is quite valid it what he says. They say he is the Simon Colwell of the kitchen. Sometimes i think he gives Simon a run4 his money, especially since Simon has gotten a little soft lately. As Gordon Ramsey would say if you can't take the heat stay out of the kitchen. Glad to hear you had a gr8 wknd.
