Remember this was in 2007.

Around for a while" $1300 - $2500 per episode min 3 days a week
Veteran $1500 - $4000 per episode
Typical Annual Salary:
1st Year Mark - $72,800 - $135,200/per year
5 Year Mark - $135,000 - $260,000/per year
10 Year Mark - $156,000 - $416,000/per year

Then I found this:

By understanding how budgets work in the soap world, we can see how the network execs' HAVE to decrease saleries to meet the allowed budget.

IF you had been living off $100,000/year then suddenly was cut down to $70,000/year you would have to make budget cuts also. Business is business so to survive you either close shop or cut saleries.

We HATE to see our DOOL vets be "let go", but we may as well get used to it. It's either MORE newbies or no soap at all. We don't like it and fuss but we have to get used to it.
