Does anyone have an OT in mind that we can discuss? What about describing a situation and asking for advice? Cooking, gardening, child raising advice, ect. Home remedies that work. Hey, I've got one that I found on the internet that worked. My palm was itching terribly. It was ringworm. I read that painting the area with CLEAR fingernail polish would smother and kill the ringworm. Sure enough that worked and in a few days the ringworm was gone. Last year I had a wart on my upper chest that began to itch. I looked up home remedies and one was to take a Q-tip and dip in Apple Cider Vinegar and saturate the wart well, fan dry (so the band-aid will stick)and cover with a band-aid. It said that the wart would turn black and gradually disappear. I had to repeat the application 2 X day for about a week (could take two), and the wart was gone. These are MY experiences. No guarentee is made. Yes, I have told the whole world that I had a ringworm and a wart! |

Tomorrow is my birthday. I'm celebrating this weekend by going gambling in Atlantic City. Fun times! It snowed here today in NJ despite it being the 1st day of spring...and it's really cold out too! |

When my daughter was 2, my husband threw out her binkies. She just went cold-turkey. Honestly, it was harder to get her off the bottle than throw away the binkies. She's 16 now, so no long term effects. |

My son was about 2 when I decided he didn't need a soother anymore. I just took it away and he was fine. I did keep a spare one hidden tho for about a week after just in case but I never needed to give it back to him. |

I am so open ,honest and definately not bashful. I have been on stage numerous times, local television, and entertained hundreds of people. I worked in management most of my 24 RN years, so it is easy for me to manage employee's, make friends and provide entertainment to suit the setting. I am 65, divorced, and have been retired for 10 years. Anymore unmarried people on this board? From your comments,it seems like most of you are in your 20's to 30's and married. I think I am the oldest person on this board. Am I? It dosen't bother me at all. I love my age. FREEDOM is awesome. |

thanks girls!!!! all day yesterday and today I haven't given him his soother. he doesn't ask for it at all, except for when he's going for his nap or when it's bedtime. he puts up a fight for about 10 mins or so, and then gives up and manages to sleep through the night. he still has his blanket and teddybear (teddy bear only at night, the blanket is all day, but not when we're out.lol) though, which i think is helping a bit...makes it not seem so tragic that he's without his soother.lol... |

I cant wait till i retire, i'm sick of working to be honest. I seem to be getting no where fast. I'm a homebody so being home isnt a problem. I was divorced also and have remarried....being single for that 7 years was fun i have to admit but i prefer having someone to share life with...doesnt mean i didnt love having my freedom either. Alanurse you seem like such a nice person. |
