Days of Our Lives - MESSAGE BOARDS

Drastic measures may be needed for NBC and DOOL PTB (Powers That Be)to listen to the fans. I watch NBC 80% of my veiwing time. I also try to pay attention to the ads paid for by the DOOL advertisers, and support them. If the PTB think I am going to watch their network when they are ruining the only show I watch loyally, they have another 'think' coming. When Drake and Deidre leave, the ratings will tank and the show will be done. I intend to boycott the entire network, and affiliates, and advertiser products. We all need to be drastic with this.

Days is not the only soap that has gotten rid of cast. AMC,OLTL and GH have also done this. Perhaps if Deidre and Drake were willing to take a paycut, they'd still be on the show. Unfortunately, these two always think they're IT...which they're NOT...and refuse any cuts. They should try to be team players a bit more often. But riding off into the sunset together is not a bad thing...they'll probably come back now and again like Julie & Doug.

I'll continue to watch the show which is getting so very good now. It holds my interest every day...and yes, there are some characters I will probably always FF thru, but I'll still watch.

I am boycotting NBC right after Deidre and Drake get killed off or leave together. I have watched this soap for so many years and it took the place of Another World as my favorite when that too was canceled. I live close to home and come home for lunch everyday when it is on. I am really upset at the network. Get rid of as many other people as Deidre and Drake get paid if it's the budget you are so worried about. Those two along with Sweeney and the characters Bo and Hope are the most important. You lost a loyal fan.
