Ya, I havent much cared for the girl since her arrival but I did feel quite bad for her yesterday. I mean she was sort of kidnapped by her father's killer, tossed over a balcony, found out the only person who likes her is CraZy! I would say that most moments like that deserve a bit of empathy and compassion. Plus they really should have blamed themselves. Their best friend went loco and no one even noticed something was amiss

Yes they SUKKED!!! They were mean!!!

i am not saying they have to be best friends with her now. just that it would have been nice if stephanie and chelsea would have said they were sorry for accusing her of murder and sorry that nick tortured you.

Yes they were mean.

But in Melanie's case what goes around comes around.

And in Chelsea's case she's the pot calling the kettle black.

And Stephanie should go to a go to a luxury spa.

It seems to me that if you don't like Melanie, you think she got what she deserves, and if you do sort of like her than she was wronged by Chelsea and Steph. I do like Melanie, I always try to give new people on the show a chance. They always write newbies in so that we can not stand, so give them a chance, they eventually find their place in the show and are favs. For instance when Steph came to town I thought she was a little well you know #lutty, then we felt sorry for her for the way that Horton boy treated her, and then there was Ford and what he did to her, and then she killed him. Now she is some peeps fav.

I would write about Chelsea, but we would be her all day, but long story short. I hate my life and my perfect parents Bo and Hope, oh I killed my baby brother, I did not do it, I did do it, feel sorry for me. I love Nick but I will not tell him my true feelings because he is a LOSER, oh he slept with my mom, how could he do that to me when I treated him so badley, feel sorry for me. Ok Nick I love you, wait maybe not I love Daniel, oh wait he slept with my Grandmother, ewww gross, feel sorry for me.

I know I missed alot with these two girls, but I think you get the picture. Eventually, they will write Melanie so we like her. First we hate, then we feel sorry, then they are our FAVS.

But yeah, Steph and (even more) Chelsea, have to open the old I was wrong book, and find out how they say I am sorry.

Interesting thread. This really upset me to read some of the responses. If any one of you were stalked by anybody, you would never blame the victim. No matter what. Stalking has nothing to do with the victim! Nothing at all.

I spoke about this in my thoughts. I don't think it matters whether or not you like Melanie to know what is right and wrong. I have always loved the character of Nick. Hate that he's going to jail, but he is solely responsible for his own actions. Not Melanie. Melanie's not my fave character in any capacity. I felt something for her twice now, but my feelings for or against her don't even matter. What Nick did had nothing to do with anything Melanie did or said. He was a stalker. He's not in love with her. He's mentally ill. Stalkers don't know the person they're stalking. They've got an idea of them that doesn't even fit reality. They need psychiatric help!

Stephanie and Chelsea are confused and in shock. Or they should be. They're lashing out because they need somebody to blame and it hasn't sunk in that their friend is a murderer and a stalker. It's not easy to realize that somebody you love messed up really bad. Often times we blame the wrong people, until we realise the truth. It is never the victim's fault.

But remember what he did to her in that room. That was scary. Would you feel bad for him? Would you feel bad for somebody who did what he did? If you read the episode update, and put yourself in her shoes, (nasty as she is!) you totally would see it differently. Even if you felt bad for him, you never would show it. You'd feel violated and afraid.

She was still in shock and it registered on her face when she came into the Salem PD.
