I actually felt so sorry for Nick today. Am I the only one who does? After watching him today I feel like he wants to be loved so bad and will do anything to protect the ones he cares about but it always backfires on him. I think that when Chelsea broke up with him it made him so desperate for love. Does anyone else feel this way? I know there are some that really can't stand him but I really felt for him today.

I feel sorry for Nick, up to a point. He's such an intelligent guy who didn't have to go this route. I don't like the way he's being written, but to blame Chelsea for his behavior seems a bit extreme. (But hey, Melanie could drive anybody crazy!). Having said that, well, I'm glad the "Who Killed Trent?" snoozefest is about over, it really was a pretty pathetic waste of airtime for the most part. I, for one, don't really care who wasted the slime. However, there are three good points about it:

1. It gave Blake Berris a chance to show his range as an actor (although I don't like what they've done with Nick's character).

2. Nicole being arrested for Trent's murder, being in a cell with a bunch of tough female inmates (clearly she's never watched any women's prison movies), wearing an orange jumpsuit (sentimental favorite).

3. Finally getting to see Bo and Hope in cop action (although they are so ineffectual now, I feel sorry for Rafe if he's going to have anything to do with the moronic Salem PD).

Blake has done some pretty phenomenal acting, too bad it took a storyline like this to show his range.

Other than the points mentioned above, the whole s/l was pretty much zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz. . . . . . . . .

I dont feel sorry for Nick at all. First he kills Willow and gets away with it. Then he gets crazy over Melanie, Stalks her, Keeps her in the hotel room and will not let her leave and now she is hanging off the balcony for dear life. He is crazy.He needs to go to jail for a long time.Ofcorse he will prob get out of it some how they will prob say he was on drugs and he needs to go to a mental hospital or a drug rehab for a while but if he stays on the show he will not stay in jail for very long.
