WTF?! You have GOT to be kidding me! So, the idiots that are in charge have decided to just totally DESTROY everything that IS DAYS, at this point...and substitute the GARBAGE that makes up other soap operas hoping that the NAME itself will keep people watching?
That isn't going to work. Days of our lives will never get another contract again at this rate.
I'm 30 years old and have been watching Days faithfully since I was 6! I don't see how it can survive the current administration in place. How tragic. Beyond tragic. Marlena is the soul of Days of our Lives. Stupid fuchers.

I hope Chrissi or someone on her staff can tell us if this is true or just a rumor. I haven't seen this info. anywhere as of yet.

Man I better check this out!! I hope this is not true. Im not that big of a Marlena fan. But I think the show needs her since it all revolves around her and her family!

Well that says it all for me, when they go so do I. I might pop in to watch from time to time.
I'm done with this "revamp" of the show. It's a shame I watched for over 35 years.

the show will just not be worth watching with marlena and john gone!!
i know they leave happily ever after lol but very sad news ro us fans very sad news

hi Tammer i watched since i was 10 yrs old now im in my 30's, so when they leave so do i

i have other soaps that would never do this to beloved charaters like Days is doing!!!

hi well from what i just read the old john returns!!
john finnally remembers his past and love for marlena then they leave town for an unknown period of time!!!
i think this is all crap and a spit in the face to us fans who dearly love them!!!!!!

why couldn't the writers bring the old john back sooner so we can see them happy for awhile before they leave town???
