Please Day's find someone else to play Philip and please DO NOT let it be KYLE BRANDT. IMO he was horrible playing the role and as an actor too. Let us have someone fresh to the scene like Galen Gerring and Eric Martsoff have been to Day's. |

He will be greatly missed. I will miss seeing the beautiful face.....So sad

IMO JKJ is far and above the other actor who portrayed him before. I was so pleased when he came back. Anybody else in that role will just leave me cold. He has a way with his eyes and mannerisms that just make you know he is a great actor. What a waste!!! |

So it seems the show was not planning on JKJ leaving since they are still writing for Phil & looking to recast, so does this mean a vet is still leaving? |

According to the article, JKJ is NOT the vet that been advertised as leaving the show. It is someone else. The situation with JKJ is apparently very recent. |

And like Chrissi said with more buget cuts we will see let vet airtime which translates to me just what you said I heart U that this show is going to get worse and worse.  . I guess I am praying for 1 that Jay goes primetime or is on another soap. 2. That they DO NOT reacast Philip with Kyle Brandt. This man is in no way to me sexy at all. I heart U I hope your praying too.

Without JKJ they should just write out Philip, seriously. He IS Philip. Some characters just cannot be recast correctly... I really hope that something changes and he stays and they finally give him a good s/l. |

There are already so many characters on this show we the viewers can't keep up with their boring story lines, there are so many I'd rather see them get rid of then to let Jay go. I know it was his choice but I'd like to see him get paid what he's worth and they give him a deserving s/l and they can keep him by getting rid of a few. What are these ppl at Days thinking? It blows my mind. Yeah I'll follow him if he does do anything else. I watched that other show he was on but it failed. It wasn't great anyway. I think if the Days ppl would take advantage and use just half of the cast they have instead of trying to keep everyone and just showing them 3 times a month everything on the show would be more interesting. I don't have a clue what is going to happen but no one on here is consistent. I'm just sick of it all. I do watch and I know it's my choice but it's called dedication to a show I've watched for 27 or more years since I was very young. To watch it go so far down hill is sad to me. As for Kyle, I watched the Real World he was on for MTV and I didn't like him then he was a jerk, this isn't actor bashing it was "real life and true stories" and I hated him as Philip. To me he ruined the character. When he was on I didn't care a thing about what he was doing but as soon as they brought the REAL PHIL back I was ecstatic and I started watching every day not just keeping up with the show I became an addicted viewer again. I guess this is show biz... Dolfanforlife-I'm about to write you in the lounge..

I know!! It's gonna be hard for me to keep watching the show now....especially with all the "messed up" storylines. I was really anticipating for Phil to get with Steph or some lady other than chloe, it's a real shame!! |
