Ok, we all now know that nick killed Trent, but will he be getting in trouble and is this an effort to take Blake out of the show? I hope not...if anyone knows anything let me know. Thanks

Nick getting caught is probably an effort to write him out of the show. I'd rather not see him go, I mean, he did Salem a favor by offing Trent.
As far as I'm conserned Trent died of natural causes, natural to the line of work he was in.

Eugene Bradford!

What does he have to do with Nick? Well, I am having a hard time accepting Nick as a killer. And, I really don't want Nick to leave the show. Would rather see him as more of a central character...

Now, if some of you who have been watching Days for as many years as I have, you will remember that Eugene's wife was the first Salem stalker victim. Eugene was a patient of Marlena's who had found out that his wife was cheating on him.

Eugene had passed out or got knocked out the night his wife was killed. He thought that he had killed her. Subsequently, he was infatuated with his psychiatrist, Marlena, and he went a little wacko and abducted her planning to make to take his wife's place or something like that.

Of course, Roman rescued her and Eugene was arrested. Roman thought it was all cut and dried. He had arrested the killer, case closed; chalk one up for the Salem P.D.

Marlena, however, just had a feeling that Eugene was no killer. In the end, it turned out that Marlena was right.

Eugene seemed kind of creepy at first, but he was just a mixed-up kind of guy whose visions and hallucinations were further complicated by the fact that he was psychic. He was also an inventer..much like Nick.

Eugene ended up being one of the funnest and most well-loved characters on the show. (I still miss him.)LOL

Maybe. Just maybe this storyline with Nick is just a new twist on the Eugene thing. And, maybe Marlena will be the one to pick up on the fact that Nick is no killer. Marlena to Nick's rescue? It could really work because Marlena is good friends with Maggie, and she is the one who treated Nick's mother...

well nick might have been revealed as the "killer" but you know in salem nothing is what it seems

Ok here is what I am hoping. I never really like Nick as a geek, always that he was a push over and really boring...but now that he is creepy I kind of like him. I think he definetly has mental problems, and once he is caught they will figure this out, and try to rehabilitate him. Hopefully, they will do something like this instead of not address his problem and just write him off.

Oh and since he is crazy and in a metal institution getting help from none other than Marlena, Max and Mel will take over the fuel project and make millions.

I'm not sure how long you have watched this show but I have been a fan for about 30 yrs. Nicks' mom, Jessica, had this split personality thing going about 28 yrs ago so I'm wondering if they are taking Nick in that direction??? Just a thought. Let me know what you think.

Maybe they could explain the reason for the "flashback" that Nick had of stabbing Trent was just a hallucination. It would be very feasible that the dude that Trent owed money to is the one that really killed him.
