Days of Our Lives - MESSAGE BOARDS

These writers are sooooo confused as to what they want to do with Max and Steph its starting to turn me away! First off WHY on earth is Steph going after Max the way she is after the way he is treating her?? He acts like an A$$ towards her like she is nothing. He treated Morgan better when they broke up and he didnt even love her like he claims to "love" Steph. He was the worst boyfriend ever! He never took her out to dinner or a movie or ever did anything romantic for her. She deserves better. And when on earth did she ever talk to Philip before? They NEVER interacted to my knowledge and now all of a sudden they are the best of buddies?? They need to find Philip a PERMANENT girlfriend so he can stop playing the field like always and then when things get good he breaks up with them. I hope that Steph moves on and Max realizes what a JERK he was and by then it will be too late.

I this point I could care less about the younger characters. My question is WHERE IS JOHN AND MARLENA??!!!

Im not too fond of Max since he met his sis...I never liked him with Steph though so if this is what it takes to get those two apart so be it. Seems as if Melanie is bringing out the worst in a lot of Salems young men.

I hate the way men treat Nicole I love her she is beautiful and hilarious! I feel so sorry for her and I know I know she has done many things wrong but it's a soap so who cares.

Sami?? WTF here we go again down the same old old old path of "gosh I can't stand this man" But I'm gonna like him soon, she likes to fight and argue with the opposite sex when there could be a potential connection there, and no I don't want there to be a connection she is the last person that needs one at this point these writers are crazy I think they forgot she is pregnant?? I wish they'd stop having her act so impulsive and childish all the time.

Abe and Lexi talking in front of Theo the boy has autism he's not deaf maybe this is the reason he acts out with them and not Chelsea she actually treats him like he is normal and the way he is supposed to be treated.

OK since when did Max turn into the shyt head of Salem?? Wasn't he always the good guy? I can't stand the way he's acting.

I love this board, I'm usually a lurker, but I really loved this thread so I just had to log on and give my 2 cents. I agree with those of you who think Max has turned into the JERK of Salem! I really loved him with Steph in the beginning, they just seemed to fit together IMO, they reminded me of Bo and Hope and how they acted in the beginning of their relationship and I think they had true potential to be another Super Couple just like them. But now, I can't believe the way they have been written and I can't believe the way they have Max acting, he NEVER would have treated Steph this way before his wretched sister came to town! I really hope the writers wise up and save this relationship before it's too late.

I have watched DOOl for a long time, however, I have not been watching much for the last year, because the writing has gotten ridiculous.
First of all, I never liked Stax, they are somewhat related in my eyes, and Steph is too needy, but when did she start interacting with philip
There is so much inconsistency with the writing, also they have turned Bo and Hope into this judgemental, I put myself of pedestal characters that I cant stand, and they were the best to me.
Sami is all over the place.
And Chelsea, talk about throwing stones at the glass house you live in, first she leaves Nick, now she wants him back, and she is no better than Melanie back in the days but yet she feels she has the need to do the most judging.
And could they make up their mind who Philip should be with, steph, chloe, and now the was suppose to be underage melanie?
The writing has gone down the drain, too much inconsistency, and nothing much making sense.

MAD HOW THE WRITERS ARE NOT PUTTING DANIEL AND CHELSEA TOGETHER. THEY HAVE AMAZING CHEMISTRY, HAVE A CONNECTION TO EACH OTHER, PASSION WHEN TOGETHER. WANT TO SEE THEIR LOVE STORY CONTINUE. SO, WRITERS LET HAVE A BIG REUNION FOR DANIEL AND CHELSEA.

I have been watching Days for years to the point that I had to purchase a DVR and start taping it there were times I could not wait to come home and watch and see what happens but lately I have like a week worth of episodes on there and I have no desire to watch them because I know that there is still nothing important that entertains me enough to waste 45 mins of my time on the show. If these writers dont get their acts together they are gonna be out of jobs when the show gets cancelled. They should fire all the writers and ask the audience for inspiration...I bet the rating will go so high it will pass Y&R. We as the viewers have much better ideas that these so called "professionals" will ever have! The whole entire show is a joke! Sami is starting to PI$$ me OFF!! She is sooooo annoying I FF all her episodes. What happened to Ciara??? When was the last time someone mentioned her or we even SAW her? The show should stop will all these ridiculous pregnancies. They cant even handle all the kids are already on the show. I feel like as if when the writers dont have any ideas they get someone preggos so that they can start the whole Whose the daddy routine! Oh well hope it changes soon or there wont be any viewers left!

I can honestly say everything about Days makes me MAD! lately. I agree it has become the Sami show. I love Allison Sweeney and she is a great actress but it seems everyday is filled with Sami. She does not need a new love interest and I am not sure why they are looking for Rafe to fill the role. I miss Steve and Kayla and the real Bo and Hope along with so many others.
They have wasted Anna and Tony's characters. Even Maggie and Mickey should be more upfront instead of stuck playing the wise sages.
We could lose Stephanie, and don't get me started on Melanie she is one of the worst actresses I have seen in a long time. They could do so much more with Nicole. She is a multi-dimensional character and they are playing her so one sided. Please Days bring back our beloved characters and write them true to who they are. Days has such a talented cast and we seem to be concentrating on the young ones and not paying the tribute to the cast that made the show one we all love to watch!

Please, just shoot this show in the foot and put it out of its misery!! I hope it gets cancelled and maybe they can start a new soap for the grownups!!

since when have Mel. and Nick taken over the show? Where are John and Marlena or tony and Anna. and Why won't the writers listen to the fans?

good characters getting sacked for stepping in where the Salem PD fell short:

The attempted murder of EJ by Lucas
murder of Trent by Nick

Can't they just sweep it under the rug, the man was a no good overstuffed lying blood sucking lowlife etc. and had it coming due to the line of work he was in.

My next point is the PD itself. The all important, self righteous, high horse b.s. cops.

Sami being the same ol Sami from 14 years a ago. There is no justice.
