WOW,
Just when you think it cannot get any worst we see Lexi take the time to melt down and yell uncontrolable at the baby Sitter?
Lets see when our now 21 year son was 3 his Grandfater loss him in a large park with a huge community event. It took about 1 hour to find him.
Let me tell you no one had the time, mindset or ability to yell or rant at anyone.
Now after he was found that was a different story!
I can tell you Lexi and Abe would have been all over that park looking for that little boy.

I agree - the scene was over-dramatic and I got sick of her helpless squawking - get out there and look for your kid. Not to mention she scared the heck out of him when she saw him in the hospital, I don't think the kid was acting when he covered his ears and hid - I think he was scared for his life.

Amen... She scard that little boy in real life, he dove to the table when she came in yelling. I just thought that she lacked any sence of control at all.

yea, that whole "mini" arc today (10/10/08) had no point what so ever! We already knew that Theo and Ches. had a strong bond. It was just a filler until we could get to the "cliffhanger scene" where Nicole totaled EJ she was pregnant

I agree. I think Lexi was guilty of over-acting today. And, I saw that little boy take a nose-dive into the Mattress when she screamed his name. Made it look like Theo is scared to death of his mom. She needs to get a grip!

I disagree with guys. I thought the scene was great, I have no idea what I would do if that happened to me and I lost a child. I'm guessing I would freak out too!

But the show was trying to explain part of what Autistic children do, find a comfort zone (whether its a person or object) they get it fixed in their mind and just do it. I'm not an expert in this, so please don't send the hate mail, but I have a nephew who is Autistic and this is something he does. They are realy smart children, some just can't process what is right from wrong- like wondering off, not looking both ways for cars, etc.. the process thinking is different.
Theo covered his ears when Lexie was screaming because they don't like loud noises, they shut down, its a defense mechanism. When Chelsea talks to him, she is firm/not harsh but her tone is showing control and if you notice she tries to get him to answer like yes or no type questions. She isn't babbling on and on, its just to the point. Eye contact is also key. So, I'll get off my soapbox not but I just wanted to share a little bit of what I know. My family is dealing with this the best way they know how, its hard, life can be a daily struggle and I think Lexi, Abe and Theo (the real actors) are doing a great job. My heart goes out to everyone and I'm proud DOOL is doing this storyline!

Lexie is an annoying person, period. No way would Abe stay there in the park like a moron, without looking for his son. That was truly stupid. Lexie needs to shut up once in a while and observe her son more, rather than hounding the poor kid 24/7. Another thing, you would think as a doctor, she would have detected this earlier. Lexie is a moron.

IMO Theo is also tired of the loudness. He ducks when his mother starts yelling. Chelsea is calm and he loves her.

Theo has special needs, so of course lexie is going to freak out if theo goes missing and anyways unless someone has experienced a child wondering off and missing he/she should not be judging. Renee is a good actress and i have seen worst on other soaps. Alison and rachel both overact sometimes as well and can be extremely annoying.
