Why would trent want melanie 2 date a bad guy 2 pay off his debts? And i read somewhere that chelsea has old feelings come up when she spots melanie and nick kissing.

I wonder if this is why trent is gone in the fall. I hope they dont pair nick and chelsea up again. I doubt they would. But u never know with these writers. But why would melanie dating a bad guy help trent?

so have we all ruled out the thought of Nicole being Mel's mom? I noticed he didn't seem to mind telling her it was his daughter and she didn't seem to have any questions. I wonder how long she is going to be sticking around. I can't say I care too much for her.

From what I gather from the bits and pieces that Nicole lets out:

Nicole had a father who used her for child pornography. He took pictures of her and sold them to perverts or something.

Somehow, Trent "rescued" her from her father by marrying her. He is quite a bit older than Nicole, but evidently he used Nicole to get money too. Not sure exactly how, but I'm thinkin' he used her like a call girl. She took to drinking, and was drunk much of the time.

She could have had a baby at some point, but was not conscious when the child was born, and Trent could have told her that the baby died? Maybe that was when she left him. If she never looked back to see if she was officially divorced...she could have never known that she left a child behind.

Now, Trent is using his own daughter in the same way?

Not sure, but this will be very interesting and a great story line!

I wish they would just write Nick off already! He has no purpose on the show!
