Of course he has every right to seek custody of his daughter. All things considered.

I hate the way they are writing it in.

This is not a conversation that EJ needs to be in on unless he is counsel to one of them. And Lucas would be better off having been more civil about it.

He still needs to calm down..after all he called his daughter's mother a wh0re and that is over the top.

OMG--I can not believe you guys are actually talking about this. it doesn't matter which prison lucas went to HE WAS IN PRISON AND HE IS A CONVICT!! it doesn't matter who really shot EJ because LUCAS CONFESSED TO SHOOTING HIM! and besides all that, Sami is not an unfit mother which i'm sure EJ will prove. also, LUCAS DOESN'T HAVE A HOME!!!!! what's he going to tell the judge i'll get a house, oh, after i find a job..but in the mean time me & my daughter will shack up with my new girlfriend (who also has no job or money) in a hotel with no yard to play in because it's just so wrong for her to be with a good mother and EJ whom is a lawyer (who has a job) and live that big mansion. i mean really come on.

Sami needs to take both her kids and get the heck out of the mansion..she should have done that a long time ago.
Lucas has every right to think about his daughter and wanting full custody of Allie.
Yes he was in prison and yes he might have done some dumb things but if we look at it that way, than Sami dont need any of her Kids..since her record aint clean either. Lucas did what he did to Protect his family.
He would never hurt Allie, he only wants what is best for her.
Sami on the other hand dont know what she wants and being in the mansion aint the greates Idea.
Lucas is very mad at her for what she did and I dont blame him she has done nothing but keep both men on strings and pulled whenever she needed one or the other...not saying that he has the right to call her names...but I dont think he ever said that with Allie right there with them in the room. Now im not bashing anyone for there oppinions...this is just mine.

I think Lucas needs to calm down and stop barging into the mansion demanding to see Allie at all hours of the day/night. Can't he and Sami make better arrangements so he gets to spend quality time with his daughter while laying off all that arguing.

Sami acted mature about the whole situation. She's the one who suggested joint custody, whereas Lucas simply wants to take Allie away all the time. His "I'm gonna call Micky right now" came off like "I'll tell mom on you"... very immature. I like how Sami said that she "isn't going to play tug-of-war with Lucas" like she did in the past... very mature, girl. Who knows, it could get ugly down the road, but at least she's doing what she can to prevent it.

I think Lucas has rights and so does Sami I just think Lucas is going about this all wrong!!! He is starting fire with fire!

Did Sami have criminal charges? I really can't remember, but I do think she has been clean longer than Lucas and that matters in real life custody matters. But, Lucas should have equal rights in seeing his daughter at reasonable times.

I just had a thought, if Lexi is now chief of staff, Sami should be head of the medial records department.

The point is that Allie is in harms way if Stefano moves in. Although I believe Lucas wants Allie because of EJ, saying she isn't safe there is very true. Yes Stefano can get his hands on Allie anytime he wants. We know that. But it won't be easy access.

As far as saying Lucas shouldn't be with Allie because he is a convicted criminal is unfair to say. Although it was never said, we all assume he was protecting his son. That to me is the signs of a good father. Sami is no so innocent either. She may have never did time, but that doesn't make her any better.

I say they should have joint custody though.
