I know that he's now no longer in Salem, but I still wonder about his back story. Why was he adopted by Harper Deveraux? Whatever happened to Steve and Jack's parents? Who are Joe and Vern? How are they related to Jack? Are they NOT related to Steve?

Jack was adopted by Harper, Jack is in remission with Hodgskins disease from many years ago. Jo is also Steve's Mom also, I think Adrianne is the daughter, now playing Bonnie- there is a history link somewhere that explains it all. Vern is stepdad.
