I completely agree with your post and with the Luke and Laura thing, which most EJAMI naysayers overlook or minimize. And James has said different things at different times regarding storylines, depending on what is going down and what EJ feels or knows at that particular point. Back when EJAMI was going to address the rape issue James said that the writers were trying to find a way to find closure with it realistically so that EJAMI would have a way to move past it and move forward in their relationship. So, I don't think he's jumped over the fence for EJOLE just because he says that EJ genuninely cares for Nicole and would like a future with her. He's in the dark about a lot of things and with Nicole's upcoming deception even more so.
It's obvious that Nicole was not supposed to carry to term and she is just an interloper for EJAMI, although I do admit it seems like they tried to make the show all about her. But I guess if she's going to be a believable interloper we have to get some insight into her motives. However, I wish the writers would just get it moving with this whole s/l and perhaps tone down the recycled bits.

Has anyone here seen the latest NBC DAYS promo? Maybe "BIG NOVEMBER DAYS" is their way of saying the end of November will be the turning point for the storylines, but again, this promo is all about Nicole. How she miscarried, her sobbing into her pillow, how is she going to tell the man she "loves" (cough) that she has lost their baby? (Oh, and the Titanic-like music in the background, yep, this ship is sinking alright) EJ looking all concerned, and that's the end. Well, we all know she's going to lie about it, and Brady is going to be her co-conspirator. I just wish things would pick up already! I know she's going to lose the baby next week and her main hold on EJ will be gone, but I'm tired of the way EJ is being written. We have zero insight into him anymore and I think if they were true to his character they would have him trying to find the mayor's killer and he would be helping protect Sami and their baby. All of a sudden EJ's acting now like Sami never mattered to him, when two weeks ago he was desperate to know her whereabouts and if she's okay? No wonder James doesn't like the current writing! I don't want EJ to be totally evil again but I do want that romantic bad boy back who loves every part of his Samantha. I know James said EJAMI is endgame and I do have faith, but this is taking way too long! And I don't think Sami should fall for Rafe, since she's finally come to terms with the fact that she loves EJ. Rafe is going to spy on EJ and Nicole at the DiMera mansion next week and I'm wondering when he finds out that Nicole is faking and EJ is working for Stefano again if he will tell Sami. If she finds out that EJ is working for his father again she'll probably freak out even more and feel more justified at keeping her baby a secret. And Nicole should NOT get her hands on Sami's baby. I hope the whole convent thing will be a catalyst to bring EJAMI back together. However, these writers had either get moving, or look for a new job!

Still keeping the EJAMI faith, it's just seems to be getting a little bit harder lately.

i agree it is soo frusturating watching ej act like has completely forgotten about sami. back when he was still kinda himself in the prison scenes he was asking about her but now it seems like theyre trying to make us belive that as soon he doesnt see sami everyday he completely forgets about her. that would be fine if they hadnt shown us all the episodes showing how in love he is with her and how much obstacles he has gone through just to be with her! i just read this spoiler today and it was saying how stephano was telling ej that he needs to make things offical with nichole and ej is like i need to say goodbye to sami first and then he makes a call to her. if this is true i will be soo mad. i understand them trying to make obstacle for ejami but i really hate how they are trying to make light of ejs feelings for sami and i will be sooo made if ej ends up marring that sleazy hobag!

i've only been watching days for maybe nine months...but i felt that the writers had ej and sami address the rape issue when sami admitted to ej that she drugged and had sex with austin or in other words: sami raped austin. with that said i'm going to play devil's advocate here and say did ej rape sami...or did he give her two choices...1. have sex w/ me & i'll help you w/ lucas or 2. don't have sex w/ me & i won't help w/lucas ...

I see your point, Luvdbi. I have a hard time believing that Stefano would be so accepting of Nicole when he has always wanted EJ to be with Sami. He must know something of what's going on with Sami right now.

Someone over at the NBC website had an interesting theory that might explain EJ's current behavior. That maybe EJ is working with the FBI (and Rafe) to help protect Sami and to possibly bring Stefano down. It might give some insight as to why EJ has suddenly been acting like his feelings for Sami are no big deal and why he doesn't seem concerned about her. I was wondering who Rafe really called that night a few weeks ago. If EJ starts working for Stefano, he will get more inside info to his father's business and such to bring him down. I have such a hard time believing that EJ would just sit idly by with Sami in danger. I do think EJ is trying to make it work with Nicole too (and I think he will be in the dark about her upcoming deception), but I think he may be operating secretly to make sure Sami is protected. I do think he's probably in the dark about Sami's pregnancy as he appears to be (possibly something that Rafe didn't tell him), and he will be angry and hurt when he finds out. That also may explain why there has been no insight into EJ and why he just seems so detached from most of what's going on around him. Perhaps he wants Stefano to believe that Sami is his past, and of course, he wants to find the mayor's killer as well. Again, this is just a theory. Maybe Stefano is the one that has all this going on and not EJ, as has been discussed in the "Stefano Knows All" thread. Dena did say that there would be some twists and turns (although I'm wondering if her and her writing team are capable of anything that intelligent and original), and she said that there was a long way to go with EJ, Sami and Rafe specifically. I took that to mean a triangle (and even with this theory it's still very possible), maybe Rafe will end up falling for Sami and complicate things.

Notice we don't see Johnny or Allie anymore? You'd have to think that both EJ and Lucas must have hired help looking after the twins. Don't those kids have playdates anymore? For a guy who wants to be a father to his kids, EJ seems to have forgotten about Johnny! Oh, and we haven't seen Pookie lately either!

I'm wondering just when EJ will find out about Sami's pregnancy and about Nicole faking. I wish there would be some fantasy or daydream scenes of EJ imagining being with Sami or Sami dreaming about EJ being with her and cuddling her and her belly. Maybe we will get that stuff when Sami begins to stay in the convent (along hopefully with some SANTEEN flashbacks or ghost appearances). Like I said, I just hope the storyline begins to pick up somewhat. It's getting harder and harder to watch the show without any sort of EJAMI interaction of any kind.

Whatever is coming (and it had better be good with an EJAMI happy reunion), I think it's very likely that either EJ or Stefano knows more about what's really going on in the situation and maybe there's more to Rafe than we were intially shown.

luvdbi- i read it on that royalty days spoilers site. dont know if its true but i have read some of their other spoilers and they have come true:( i totally agree with what ur saying about stephano. i understand that the writers need to write twists nd turns to make people keep watching but i hate when they rewrite someones personality into something thats unbelieveable and not them. just yesterday i think it was stephano was saying nichole is nice to look at but she has a history so its hard to believe that he would want to welcome her into the family. maybe it has to do with the whole legal rights to the child thing he was trying to do and he thinks there would be more legal rights for him if ej and nichole were married. i wonder what he will think when he finds out nichole is trying to play his family for fools. i would love to see stephano mess with nichole like he has some other families but then i guess that would make ej want to rescue her so maybe its just best that he take care of it himself. i think we got to get a taste of his temper towards nichole in the prison i would love to see him bring it full force when he finds out

Interesting thoughts about Stefano. I used to think that Stefano and Nicole would team up to get hold of Sami’s baby somehow, but now I believe that Stefano is solely behind this. I can see him taking Sami’s baby, whether by stealing it or having EJ and Nicole adopt it. After all, in the past he switched babies, so that Lexie could have the healthy one. It all plays into Stefano asking EJ to cut it off with Sami before committing to Nicole. He feels that EJ is smitten with Nicole at this time. However, I do see all this blowing up in Stefano’s face once Ali returns from maternity leave. Stefano, unbeknownst to him, will be paving the way to Ejami. Once EJ finds out that the bay is his with Sami, he will disassociate himself from his father. He will also completely understand why Sami kept her pregnancy a secret. She was afraid of what Stefano might do and she was right. The revelation of Sami being the mother of his child, her attempt to protect it from Stefano, and Stefano betraying EJ, will be the true beginning of Ejami. Well, that’s the way I would like to see it play out.

Ejami is irresistible, undeniable, unforgettable, and inevitable!

I hope that EJ finally realizes that Sami is pregnant with his baby and maybe he will find out where she is and so that she can tell him that She loves him . They deserve to be together right now and honestly i hope that the convent thing brings those two together!

As soon as Stefano finds out Nicole lost the baby he'll jump off the band wagon. he's only going to try to push EJ to marry her b/c he thinks she's having his baby and Nicole is much more of a push over at this point than Sami, so Stefano could have his heir. Sami wouldn't let Stefano have his heir from her unless he did something to take the child. But, as soon as he finds out Nicole lost the baby and Sami is pregnant with EJ's baby he'll be all for Sami again.

I hope that EJ finally figures out that Sami is pregnant with his child .They belong together and hopefully He will go looking for her and maybe She will finally tell him the truth that She loves him. I hope the convent thing gets those two back together.
