i heard this show was getting cancelled along with passions is that true?

Not yet. Passion yes. Days contract isn't up until 2009. They are discussing whether to keep it on nbc. If not I also heard another network may pick it up. I hope so as long as it want be cancelled. I don't know what I would do if they cancel DOOL.

years ago, another show was going off the air. the fans stood up an said in one voice- keep this show that we love so much on the air. that show was Star Trek. now just look at how big that is now.
if we, the fans of Days, want to keep Days of Our Lives on the air. we as fans, need to unite and in one voice say-
Keep Days of our Lives on the air...
If it worked for Star Trek...it can work for DAys as well...

Thats what I have been saying about the show Passions, I watched it some times,but not always. Iam sad to see another soap go and get canceled. we dont need our morning news program for an extra hour. I dont know what NBC is thinking except that they want out of having any soaps on there network. I know that dool isnt getting canceled know but in just 2 short years they said that they could. This will be really bad. I have went on other message boards just to get other people thinking about signing the petion for passions. If everyone that watches a soap no matter what network sticks together maybe we could fight them from getting rid of our soaps. So I say lets all stick together,and fight anyone that wants to take our soaps away. We have already lost Sunset beach,Another world now Passions also have heard rumors about Guiding light that has just celebrated a 70 year mile stone that they might cancel it if the ratings dont go up.I have also read that ABC wants to shorting there shows to 1/2 hr shows to try to save money to keep them on the air.All of us cant let this happen so everybody stand up and let the higher ups be told that they cant do this. Thankyou!
