That's what I was thinking, too. Maybe some of the LUMI fans will remember.

I've read on this board something about the baby twist is supposed to affect basically all of Salem. I'll admit I haven't thought hard about it, but I don't see a connection in the twist to the Hortons (yet).

Was Lucas at the DeMira manse under house arrest at that time?

i've mentioned this before too, a long time ago. lucas and sami were together before he went to jail, then shortly after, she slept with EJ...then EJ slept with nicole a month or so AFTER that, but yet, Sami and Nicole were due at the same time. so time lines don't have to be ENTIRELY accurate. it is a possibility that they could make Lucas the father of sydney.

and another thing i have to say....after all of this hoopla and mystery behind whatever this "twist" will be, I am going to laugh if it turns out that Lucas is the father. AND i'm going to laugh even HARDER...to the point where my head will explode, if Sami and Lucas wind up together, rather than sami and rafe or sami and EJ....ha ha ha...cause EVERYONE is talking about "who is sami going to wind up with? RAFE OR EJ?" everyone seems to be overlooking Lucas. he IS single again....

If it turns out to be Lucas, I wonder how EJ will react. Another rounds of DNA samples anyone?

Hey I am a Safe fan and I have wondered this for sometime. I have also thought for a long time that Lucas was the threat to the safe relationship not Ej. Sami cannot stand Ej, is replused by everything he does, yet Lucas she has a friendship with and and understanding. Both Sami and Lucas have grown and realize a lot of mistakes were made in the past and accept responsibilitiy for them. So while I am a Safe fan and do love Rafe, I could be happy and content with Sami in a happy relationship with Lucas (just somebody keep Kate away). I cannot get past the violence of Ej, if they worked on the character changing and repenting for 4 or 5 years and proving that he has changed and it is for real ...maybe but I couldnt accept him waking up one day a change man (one day behaving like a thug and the next day not).
Anyway I could see finding out both Sydney and Johnny are Lucas' as Johnny's results were conflicting and tampered with.
