Yes a couple adopted there baby. And you know what makes me mad Victor and Phil made a really big deal about waiting to adopted or have Claire Brady and when it came down to his real son they just gave the baby away with no fight. how dumb is that!!!

Phillip never had a baby with anyone. There was a girl that said her baby was Phillips just to get money from him, but it was never Phillip's baby. Sorry to disappoint you.

Even soaps.com isn't very clear.

Philips page says under children that he has (legally, not biologically) Claire with Belle, and that Mimi possibly had his child.

Mimi's page only says under children, that she possibly has one with Philip.

So it was never resolved. So, did Mimi leave town before giving birth? Because it reads to me like there is another child out there for Philip - whereabouts uncertain/unknown, whether birth happened or not also uncertain/unknown.

Yes it was. The little boy Kayla and Steve took care of (Pocket) was Phillip and Mimi's little boy. Phillip signed over the baby to be adopted by the people who took him when the authorities took him away from Kayla.

He and Mimi did, actually. It was when Mimi and Shawn wer married and Belle and Philip were married and both couples couldn't get pregnant so they both did invitro and someone (I can't remember who) switched the vials and Belle ended up pregnant with Shawn's baby and then had a miscarriage and Mimi endedup pregnant with Philip's baby and said that she had an abortion, but really had the baby and then some chick ended up back in Salem with him... and I think she died somehow (did she fall down the stairs at the hospital?) and then Philip fought for him for a while while Steve and Kayla had him (the infamous Pocket Man) but then gave up because he "realized that a baby needs a stable family"
I think it was a cop out cause it was a boring storyline, lol.

Mimi & Phillip signed papers ordering the abortion of "their" baby by the surrogate. The surrogate, however, did not abort the baby. I beleive she did try to blackmail Phillip & then died was how Pocket came to be an orphan. It was a stupid & boring s/l. I think they just needed an open door for Steve & Kayla to have a baby (Joe).
