I'm 48, and have always watched Days. But, I really don't care about it anymore. I have been waiting for it to get better, no such luck. |

I know. Nicole has been more loyal to EJ than anyone that's come into his life and her reward is being treated like trash and receive prison. I hate this. Nicole was my favorite and I loved her and EJ together but not anymore. |

But Nicole lied to EJ. She tried to munipulate him into staying with her after losing her baby. She was all set to lie to him using Mia's baby. EJ did not love Nicole, she should have let him go but she chose to fill his head with crap. The fact that Sami's baby was born the same day just worked right into her evil plan. |

. So I'm thinking you started watchimg DAYS when you were little. DAYS being DAYS has to drive you crazy with some of the plots. But really can you imagine getting up snd not watching DAYS. Just hang in there, I am sure you will like it again.

Our distaste for Days is we have too much information; years ago you had to watch the show to know what was going on and too keep up. Today we have to read the spoilers and threads, and they tell us two weeks in advance what is going to happen, and when we see it the intrigue is gone. JMO. |

I am so glad I don't have people that are that loyal to me. I agree that Nicole has been more loyal to EJ than anyone else, including his own father, and that Nicole lied to EJ and manipulated him. However, isn't this exactly what EJ has been doing to people since he came to Salem? I am not in any way condoning what Nicole did, but maybe it is now payback time for EJ. What goes around comes around. I think DAYS has gotten much better over the past year. And I do think that a lot of the intrigue of the soaps has been damaged by all the info out there. I am glad that TPTB are not letting out a lot of info on the SAFE reunion. I want to be surprised as to how it comes about. |

They can't keep them together and give them problems we find interesting? I think Nicole did EJ a huge favor. She arranged things so he would raise his daughter, but she ends up being the b@#*h. I find myself fast-forwarding through most of the show. I truly used to love Days. Now, I just don't care.  I agree with you 100%. I haven't watched the show in 2 weeks and I was a dedicated DOOL fan forever. But the way t he s/l's are going and with Nicole being on the front burner forever....well I just don't care anymore either. I was fforwarding more than I was watching cause nothing peaked my interest. The s/l's are so long drawn in coming to an end. Maybe when I return to watching I won't have missed much because it takes forever to end a s/l and I can catch up where I left off. LOL. |

Sorry to hear that some of you are bummed and not watching Days but i got to tell ya some of us are stoked, i sure am. I love everything that is going on right now...i tape the show everyday and get excited to watch....maybe that has something to do with the fact that i love the couples that have a positive future and i pretty much agree with what the writers are saying.....otherwise i'd probably hate whats going on...oh well, cant plz everyone. |

There are now spoilers out there to read like on this site and I read them because it is tempting to find out what is going to happen in advance. I can't believe that the network would allow this to happen. Because of this, it is one reason why the are losing advertising dollars. Fans are only recording and watching which show they want and when the VCRs came out, that is when it all started. Now it's DVRs and the same thing. If it were not for these gadgets, they would be making money. The commercials are being skipped. I am sure 99.9 percent of soap watchers out there have either a VCR or DVR. I can see where one day, there will be no soaps for wives and stay at home moms to be entertained with and I am not into game shows like I used to be. |
