I hate the way they are writing Hope! I cannot believe that she had the nerve to bring up Zack's death and blame it all on Chelsea and Bo!
What about the fact that Zack got out of the house and ran into the street at night?
I always thought the babysitter was let off the hook in that debacle.
Chelsea should have been more careful yes. But who in the world would ever think a child would be in the street at that time of night.
Bo forgave Hope when she lied for 2 years about John not being the father of J.T. Bo asked her several times and she kept on lying. Yet, he forgave her and never brought it up again.
I keep wondering if there is something medically wrong with Hope because this is not her at all. The real "Hope" loves Bo like crazy and would never create this kind of trouble between them. They are destroying the character as she was always written. Remember when she came back from the dead and Bo was w/Billie? She never wavered in her desire to be with him. And I can remember numerous other times like that. The whole Zack storyline was just Days copying the Young and the Restless with Cassie dying. That is when they started messing with who Hope really is. At least with the Zack storyline you could understand some of her actions. In this storyline, I cannot believe her and I can tell that a lot of others on this board are floored by her behavior. Bring back the real Hope!

I am not sure why the writers think that they need to cause problems for Bo and Hope every little bit. Bo and Hope from the first time that they met have always and will always love each other, so leave them alone and let them be happy. I watched DOOL from time to time, but I stopped after Zach died. I thought about watching it again, so I turned it on the other day only to find out that Bo and Hope are not even living together, so I guess I won't be watching it often. I don't like Carly and I don't want her with Bo. I don't want Hope with Justin ether. Bo and Hope belong together. You mentioned Hope bringing up Zach and the babysitter getting off. It made me think. What if by some chance, Stefano had something to do with it and Zach was still alive. I have always wondered if Zach really died and if he would show up in Salem again. Just a thought.

Poor Kristian Alfonso, the writers are destroying her character. Frustrating to watch them do this to such a long time favorite.

I agree completely with your statement that the writers are destroying Hope's character. They have turned her into a nasty, whiny witch. Bo was right about not paying the kidnappers and she refuses to acknowledge that. Every time things don't go her way she packs up and leaves; that's not what a marriage is about. She and Bo are supposed to have a one in a lifetime love for each other and she continually turns on him and needs to get away for "just a while". So now that Carly is back Hope will get all jealous and possessive and want her man back. I hope Bo gives her a taste of her own medicine. Hope needs to remember how devastated she was last year when Bo was dying. Kristian Alfonso should hate playing her character the way her part is being written these days.

Ok, maybe I'm a horrible person just like the Hope character has become, but I'm sympathetic to Hope's viewpoint because honestly, I don't know if I could have gotten over the circumstances surrounding the death of my child. Yes, I'd have made the babysitter accountable for her part as well, but not having been through something like this personally, I can't say I would have been forgiving or forgetting my stepchild's culpability, nor my husband's covering for her. I just don't think I could ever get past it! Maybe she THOUGHT she got past it then, but with the terror of possibly losing another child, it brought up all those fears and emotions deeply buried.

I’m going to get in trouble for saying this, we all know that couples can’t be happy on soaps, and everything that can be done to Bo and Hope has been done, so they have to break them up and start new relationships with other people. That’s why it’s good to clean house once in a while and retire some of the old actors and bring in new actors and story lines. We as viewers don’t like it, but to keep the show on the air I think it is necessary. JMO!

Havent the writers destroyed characters before running them off? Maybe they have plans to rid of Hope once and for all. Who knows but for Hope to bring up Chelsea and blame her and Bo for Zach's death is just terrible. Didnt she forgive Chelsea and become very close to her before she left town?

I dont think they are destroying Hope. Her charector is going through something that is making her grow. There are sides to her I dont like as much. But I appricate how going through what she went through with both Zach and Seirra changed her perceptions of her husband.

The only reason they are causing problems with Bo and Hope is because they are trying to pave the way for Bo to have scenes with just him and Carly, basically their trying to isolate Bo so when Carly makes contact with him,he will be free to help her, I believe Bo and Hope will get back together but it will take time.

Didn't anyone find it weird that Hope didn't even think twice about agreeing to live at the Kiriakis mansion? maybe Roman has got Hope undercover to try and get closer to Victor or something, and Hope is just pretending to be po'ed at Bo, knowing that once the investigation is over, Bo will understand, and all will be forgiven!! lol...

idk...who knows...these are the only two senarios i'll be happy with, cause we all know THIS ISN'T LIKE HOPE!!!!

Hope's lame excuse was that she didn't want to be in Doug and Julie's house all alone...I call BULL!!!

and Victor told her to stay at his house so she could work on her relationship with Bo....how will that work? Bo is PI$$ED that she's decided to stay there...ESPECIALLY with Justin living there too...

something is DEFINATELY fishy here.

the more i think about it...the more i feel that the writers would honestly NEVER be so stupid as to pull bo and hope apart. too many viewers would be so unhappy about that!! there totally has to be more going on here....HAS TO BE!!!
