I don't get Maggie... first she is telling Melanie that she is "good enough" for Nathan, now she is freaking out because they shared a "kiss" in the kitchen... what's up with that?

Is Maggie trying to break them up so Stephanie will have a change with her grandson?

Who else thinks that Nathan is tougher than grandma gives him credit for... I think he will not let anyone stand in the way of him pursuing Melanie... what do you think?

I think Maggie needs a wake up call. I seem to recall years ago when she cheated on Mickey with Neil and because of that her youngest daughter hated her(if my memory serves me thats why the daughter left). But It is her house. and they both need to respect the "in house" rules.

If Melanie and Nathan are developing a "close" relationship, it would be darn near impossible for them to live under the same roof and keep their hands off each other, so one of them moving out is probably a good idea.

Also, they are very young, so slowing things down a bit won't hurt them at all.

That being said, Maggie does have a way of going around sticking her foot in things. LOL

fair enough about the "house rules"...but come on...don't you think she's going a little overboard? it was just a kiss. big effin' deal!!! it's not like they were having sex on her kitchen counter next to her freshly baked pies!! so what? now Maggie loses COMPLETE trust in Melanie, over one stupid kiss in her kitchen? I'm surprised with Maggie, she's being even more immature than the teens on the show....and what's even more pathetic, is she looks like she's about to cry in every scene, like it's the end of the world if Melanie and Nathan are dating!! lmao!! they are big girls and boys and can handle themselves....Maggie may be right about the possibility of Melanie hurting Nathan, but she seriously needs to butt out. she can't keep Nathan in a bubble and she can't shelter him from pain. it's unrealistic. Nathan is a grown man for crying out loud...i'm assuming anyways...he's a DOCTOR, right? he HAS to be in his late 20's to early 30's at least. and Maggie is giving him orders on who he should and shouldn't date!! get real!! lol...it's kinda funny in a way...but also very frustrating, cause I wish Nathan would speak up and put Maggie in her place.

Yea, the tears were a bit over the top for the situation.

I know Maggie said she is concerned about Melanie hurting Nathan, but lets get real....These people are not 12 year old children! House rules or not....These house rules are in effect because she really just doesn't want these two together, that's obvious...Sorry Maggs, but you're wrong, and somewhat annoying!

I do not like Melanie
and I don't want her with Nathan
BUT Maggie was overly dramatic I was like 'damn, chill.'

Besides they are adults.
WHY would Maggie agree in the first place to let Mel and Nathan stay there if she doesn't want them together.

Lots of good thoughts here. However I really like the Mel/Nathan connection. There's an innocence about it that I really like... and Maggie needs to let them make their own choices...

so who does Maggie what Nathan with.... Stephanie... get real... Nathan's heart is safer with Melanie than with the man eater Stephanie...

Be careful what you wish for Grandma Maggie!

I think Maggie needs a man of her own, and I don't mean her husband.

yeah no kidding eh?!?! Stephanie would reel him in, then start feeling like she made a mistake..afterall, NAthan BROKE THE LAW by helping Daniel give chloe those drugs...even though they saved her life. how could he do something like that???? :-O he's a CRIMINAL!!!! then she'll break up with him....then she'll tell him she made a mistake. then Nathan will do something that goes against HER morals (cause afterall...she's an angel and everyone should live by the same morals as she does...forget about people who have their OWN beliefs), so she'll break up with him again....and on....and on.....and on....

bbbllllllaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!

bahahahahahahaha!!!!

I do agree that she over-reacted. But that beindg said, inside the walls of Maggies home, they need to respect her wishes! It is her house.
Speaking of Maggie if the real Micky isn't coming back, Neil Curtis should come back. A real chief of staff would be nice!!

There are so many characters that I would rather see come back before Neil. And they already have enough Dr.'s on the show-Carly,Lexie,Daniel,Nathan-

Maggie has become a frustrated, sexless, uptight fuddy duddy and is taking it out on poor Mel and Nathan. I say they ship her to an island full of cabana boys serving her every want and need for awhile. Cuz Mickey isnt cutting it.

Anyone here remember when John used to get annoyed with Maggie? I remember he felt that she was a busybody too.
It was when they used to go to Tuscany for a romantic night out.
Gosh, I miss that. Couples would actually go out on dates! They would get dressed up and dance. I loved that.
They did not just hook up in elevators. I miss the old-fashioned romances.

Yes, it's Maggie's house and they should respect her no PDA rules. However, the tears were a little over the top IMHO. I'm glad they've put Maggie on the front burner, but don't exactly like her advice. Wish the old Mickey would come back out of retirement. They complimented each other so well.
