I think that I can identify the issue. People are looking for him to emote, more. You feel you deserve actors who can emote and you do deserve this. After all, you're spending an hour a day - five hours a week if not more, watching the show, reading about the show, etc. I saw many posts like this when Eric came to the show as Brady, when Galen came on as Rafe, I still see them about Nadia as Chloe and I have recently started seeing it about Casey as Chad. |

When you say pay for someone to kidnap his sibling, I am assuming that you mean Sami supposedly giving Nicole money to get away with Sydney. She and Will don't know that Nicole has her child and Will's sibling. That is not anyone's fault, but Nicole's and Stefano's. If Sami knew the truth, she certainly wouldn't be doing that. I agree that Will has not had a great childhood, being tossed around, as was his mother, but IMO, he is becoming more mature, slowly, but surely. He hasn't really had much of a male role model in his life as of late, which he desperately needs. Lucas has been too wrapped up in his own issues to help Will deal with his. Rafe has stepped in a few times to help him, but he has not had enough of a chance to help him much, even tho, it seems as tho Will likes and respects him. I think the writers are portraying him as an innocent teen and the complete opposite of Chad. I agree the kissing scenes are awkward, but they are awkward on both his and Mia's parts. I think they are meant to be played that way. |

I've viewed some truly terrible acting so imo he's not that bad. He just seems like one of those teens who doesn't say much.Yes he's boring but so are Mia and Chad(Mia bores me to tears). They could all show more emotion. Maybe it's his acting that needs work, maybe it just his acting style, or maybe it's just that the writer aren't giving him much to work with. |
