EJAMIs - are you concerned Sami still refers to RAFE as Grace's Dad?

In all honesty for these reason I dont think you can look for an Ej and sami reunion in the near future. The best they would be able to write from where these characters are now is to start thawing their frosty relationship, it would take quite a bit of time to be able to move these two characters to a pairing. JS last interview he said that Ej can forgive Nichole that he loves her. I think that maybe the route they end up taking.

Part of the reason for the directions changing long term is changing of writing teams/producers etc. They bring in a whole new staff and they have a whole new vision.
Sometimes I think we has veiwers read more things into situations and create more "clues" than ever was intended. Sometimes I think they leave their options open to see how it plays out and what the response is. Sometimes things are red herrings. And sometimes it is something they will eventually get too, like Stefano was trying to get Kate to marry him for how long before he tried to kill Phillip and than it was dropped.


ITA dayz. They're gonna go for the Ej n Nicole, especially after reading Jame's interview you were talking about. But those 2 are growing on me as a couple. I still would like to see EJ n Kate. Those 2 were meant 4 each other.

If EJ can forgive Nicole & try & make it work w/her again, then he can certainly forgive Sami & get past their so called 'frosty' relationship (which seemed fairly warm to me when EJ was spilling Nicole's lies to Sami), seeing that he loved Sami to begin with & only went after Nicole to make Sami jealous &, by his own admission, only stayed w/Nicole b/c she was pregnant.

Ari Zuker gave an interview in which she said Nicole is delusional in thinking that she can be with EJ again. I don't know what they're going to do with Sami, but I don't think EJ & Nicole will be a couple again. EJ is furious now & he still doesn't know the whole truth. He still doesn't know Nicole knowingly took Sami's child & allowed Sami & EJ to believe their child died.

Rafe did help Sami bringing up Grace so not unusual for Sami to refer to him as her "dad", same goes for Sydney, Nicole is the only mother she's ever known so would only be fitting that Sami refer's to Nicole as Sydney's mother,even when the truth is revealed.. Biology doesn't seem a factor in this storyline and both the father's role (Rafe for Grace) and the mother role (Nicole for Sydney) have both come about because of scheming and lying..

I certainly wasnt saying it couldnt happen, just that there is much more work involved in it for the writers. If you re-read what I said it was a reunion in the "near" future (which means the next 2 or so months) in that time the best they can do is start to thraw that "frosty" relationship. Well Ej maybe a lot more willing and closer to forgiving and forgetting than Sami, Sami has bigger issues with Ej. If they take a bit of time to thaw Sami's resentment's of Ej and allow them to be on speaking terms and a freindship to form and from there to a romance. But that will take a good 8-10 months.

The difference between forgiving Nichole and Sami is that Nichole wants Ej and is receptive, as it stands now Sami could care less about him and is closed off on Ej.

I am agreement with you. I know that Lexie has spoken with EJ about his feelings for Sami and told him he needs to let her be happy with Rafe b/c that is who she loves. I don't hear anyone, including Sami, talking about Sami having feelings for EJ. I think EJ really did fall in love with Nicole. He did say that in the beginning he only married her b/c of the pregnancy, but on the plane he did tell her that he fell in love with her and that was the reason that they are together, not just b/c of Sydney.
At any rate, Sami is continuing to call Rafe Grace's daddy, b/c he was her daddy. He loved her before she was born and still does. Both he and Sami will go on loving Grace b/c regardless of who her bio parents are, they raised her together.

I agree I see nothing wrong with Sami referring to Rafe as Grace’s daddy. I do see one more element coming into play for EJ and Sami. When Sami finds out Stefano is the one that brought Meredith to town to break up Rafe and Sami, (Meredith told Rafe and Stefano told Nicole, so we know Sami will find out) and then Meredith came back to kill Rafe, it’s not going to matter that EJ had nothing to do with it, she is going to be livid with the Dimera’s and one more strike against EJ!

Sami will be with Lucas or Rafe. Ej will be with Nicole. He will be so happy when he finds out about Sidney being his own flesh and blood. And how Nicole staged it all for him. She is proving she can be a true Dimera.

Absolutely!! And to a Dimera that is everything. Remember the Dimera code that EJ & Stefano preached to Nicole about. That is also why Stefano hasn't kicked Nicole out on her rear. She's proven her loyalty to the Dimera family. When EJ finds out what Nicole did for him, he'll be saying... Sami, Who?

Now to answer your question.. I know this thread is addressed to EJami's and I'm not one. But, speaking as a Safe fan, it only confirms the love for me. As far as Sami knows EJ is Grace's biological father. But, it takes a special love to be "daddy". And, Sami recognizes what they had as a family was that special love.

I agree. And I can add-- any man can make a baby, but it takes a real man to be a father. Biology means little-- the person who raises and loves a child unconditionally, that puts that child before himself and would risk his life for the child makes the guy the daddy of that child. That man was Rafe and that is why Sami refers to him as Grace's daddy.

And that is what we all are waiting to see if EJ steps up to the plate BEFORE he finds out he is Sydney's daddy. Will he be that beore he knows the truth, or only after he finds the truth. If it is after, he again is only the sperm donator.
