Spoilers are saying that Carly is going to rescue Rafe from the river and in order to save him she's going to give him mouth to mouth!!! |

Thats gross! So everyone that gives or receives mouth to mouth should have some kind of chemistry? Nah Rafe loves Sami and Sami loves him. All arrows point -----> in that direction. |

I agree. I don't think they are testing any chemistry between Rafe and Carly. She is a doctor, and she is bound by an oath to do what she can to save a person's life. End of story. |

I don’t think Carly and Rafe will be a couple. If Carly is a responsible Dr she has to try and save Rafe by doing everything possible including month to month. Sami and Rafe love each other, and no other woman will change that. |

Hmmmmm, me thinks the writers are testing the chemistry between Rafe & Caqrly.......anyone remember another couple that started in the same way? Interesting! We may need to start thinking of a couple name. Cafe? Or maybe Rarly? I think this could be a pairing with potential. Rafe has nowhere to go but up in the 'chemistry with fellow actresses' department. He hasn't shared a scene with anyone - Sami, Ari, Roman, Nicole, etc. - that I was impressed with . . . his lack of emotional involvement is distracting in scenes that should otherwise thoroughly engage the viewer. |

I figure it'll be a triangle with Nicole b/c James said in an interview that he (EJ) REALLY does love Nicole. We all know Carly could handle Ej b/c she handled Lawrence really well.

Quote alane70: Well I do disagree on the fact that Rafe doesn't have chemistry with Nicole. I think that is the only character I have seen the most potential with. Maybe it's because ari makes everyone look good in a scene. But the banter, sarcasim, everyhting that needs to be there for a pairing is there. I will agree on one thing I think his character does lack emotional involvment. I think that's way he didn't appeal to as many fans, as expected. I've heard some debaters say that's what they dislike about the character.

The only person I could ever see being a "threat" to breaking apart Safe would be Carrie if she ever returned on her own. |

I think Rafe has been written as lifeless because FBI people are supposed to be cold and calculating so they can bring in the bad guys w/o getting involved. Just in case the bad guy is a loved one. JMO. I also think Rafe will do better when Emily comes back(IF), because we know(or think we do) that Sami is a poor substitute for "the love of my life" as Rafe called Emily when he was telling Sami about her. Go back and watch the episode on that. That is what he said. |
