Here's a hard one... Why were Doug and Julie so abuptly written out of the show in the 80's? (Those of you that have read thier book will know the answer to this one.)

Eugene's wife's name was Caliope...and she was a really fun character.

Stephano also had a daughter named Renee'. Tony fell in love with her only to find out that she was his sister; then later to find out that she was not as Stephano was not HIS biological father.

Eugene's wife before Callope was Trista who was killed by Andre DiMera I think although it might have been the Salem Strangler

No one answered the question about Doug's gold digging wife. It was Lee Dumonde who was with Doug's brother when he died and left all of his money to Doug instead of her. She was also Stefano's lover and the mother of his child Renee.

I also never got the full final answer for the lady in white running around with the white lace everywhere. I'm looking for who she turned out to be, not what they called her while she was running around. That's what I was asking for, if it still isn't clear (this is 3rd time asking now). By Susan Seaforths Haye's own admission they were abruptly written off the show after she shot her mouth off in an interview about how unhappy she was with the way their characters were being written. The writers chose to stop writing for them immediately and they're contracts were not renewed.

I believe the first time Hope was kidnapped, it was by Steve Johnson. Those were some great story lines back then.

There were so many women who were kidnapped by Stephano and then hid in the shadows under a shawl of white or black.

There was Laura Horton? She went insane or something..
