What happenes to topics that disappear and why???

I was reading a post a little bit ago and it just went away. Everyone was bickering back and forth about something and then it was just gone!
Why did that happen??

I'm not sure. It happened to me once. When I started to move on to the next topic that one was just gone. I couldn't find it anywhere. I thought maybe I had hit the wrong button or something.

If this is the topic I think it is sometimes when certain topics getHeated they get caned. bottom line is we have to agree to respectfully agree to disagree!

Well that one was certainly heating up. But it is kind of hard to agree to disagree when you so totally don't agree with what someone else is saying.

oh. lol...well yes i can see that getting heated.

and i know what you mean, how frustrating it can be when you so totally disagree with someone. but i try to just give my opinion just once, and then leave it at that...i think after that, when people continue to bicker back and forth about it over and over again is when the problems start. i think that's probably what the admins/moderators consider arguing with the poster rather than arguing the topic, which is against the guidelines. i think...lol...idk...that's my interpretation anyways...i somtimes have problems fully understanding the guidelines..lol
