Quote Greek Godess: There has been some gr8 work this year. But I would say JS, AS, and AZ. I don't think Rafe should get an emmy. He did deliver good work, but I don't feel it was up to the caliber of actors that get nominated at the emmy's. Especially in the scenes when grace died. AS stloe the show on that, Rafe to me then was emotionless, and frankly non existent. GG has been getting more of a chance to show his chops in the s/l now and is a tad more interesting than before. Now i can stand listening to him, before my mute button got a lot of use! Not meaning to be nasty or anything, but wasn't this thread supposed to be about who we think DOES DESERVE an emmy in 2010, not who DOESN'T? I don't think it was meant to be about character or actor bashing. JMO. |

Ari Zucker, when she was going through her miscarriage, I cried along with her. Also Allison Sweeney, she played the grieving Sami beautifully. |

Quote ghlover2009: Ari Zucker and James Scott all the way Ari yes, Allison...eh... maybe... James Scott... nah. I really think, and I am sure I'll be bashed for this but Molly Burnette was great this year and Dylan Patton's scene with Kate at the hospital after Grace died was unbelievable. |

James Scott all the way. He brings it like no one else. |

Definitly James Scott, Ari Zucker, and Ali Sweeney. Good Lord, James rocks EVERY scene he's in--the more emotional the scene is, the better James is!!! |

Quote Bwarner24: Definitly James Scott, Ari Zucker, and Ali Sweeney. Good Lord, James rocks EVERY scene he's in--the more emotional the scene is, the better James is!!! Ari was just wonderful in her miscarriage scenes and really just alot of her scenes after Grace's death! She really made it believable that although she knew what she had done, she still had serious feelings of grief for Grace! And lastly, my goodness, of course Ali Sweeney! Her scenes with Grace before she died, then afterwards, were all just Emmy-worthy material! Ali is the bomb and she nailed EVERY one of those scenes as well as all the scenes with James when she tells him Grace was his!!! All three have absolutely powerful acting ability!!! Everything Bwarner24 said. Very true. |

I totally agree!!!!! Rafe should get an emmy too. For the most boring character on Days. |

Quote Sunnydaz: I don't think my opinion came off as bashing. I feel he did give good work, but it pailed in comparison to AS, JS, and AZ. GG is a talented man, but in the scenes relating to grace it was like he was just a body, shedding a tear and nothing else. I mean i didn't feel as though he had this strong, powerful connection to Grace. as someone who was to be her father, I expected more emotion. The reason those scenes were good was mainly due to AS fine acting. I think she out did herself. That could be partly due to the way he was being written. rafe is being written a little more grey as of late, with slight more interest than before.

I agree with all of you regarding AZ, AS, and EJ. If the writers continue giving Kate the great material bringing back the old Kate we love to hate, she definitely could be a contender. |
