Can anyone help?

Well, first of all im new here and i need help.
A few years ago i was watching a soap( pretty sure it was a soap) and there was this blonde girl(pretty sure she was blonde) who had been kidnapped and held hostage and someone took her place, nobody knew that the girl taking her place was an imposter. If anyone knows what show it was i'd love to know it's driving me crazy. thanks.

This may not be what you where thinking of. It happened on DOOL a long time ago.
