~) Who does Nicole care most about holding on to: EJ or his daughter? (Contains Spoiler)

On Friday, Nicole is going to admit she miscarried and allows EJ to believe Syd is not his...so he's furious and orders both Nicole and Sydney out of his home. What I don't get, is why? Why only let EJ in on the half truth?

I think it was clear in the beginning, the whole reason she covered up her miscarriage is to hold on to EJ. And if it was just to have a child and family to love, she would have been thrilled with Grace, rather than comitting a serious crime in stealing Sami's baby. It was always about keeping her claws in EJ. At this point, her best chance of keeping ahold of EJ is tell him the whole truth and hope he sees her crime as one she comitted for his benefit (just as Stefano sees it that way). Does her unwillingness to spill all the beans perhaps mean Nicole has changed in her feelings now that she fancies herself a mommy? That she's more worried about losing Sydney than she is losing EJ?

They are trying to portray her now as a loving mother that would do anything to keep her child. I think she is a little nuts. Maybe she thinks that if she gets away with Sydney for the time being that EJ will have a chance to cool off and will realize how much he misses her and maybe she will have a chance to use Sydney as a bargaining tool to get him back.
Makes me wonder if Stephano is going to die or something because he knows the truth and he would never let Nicole take off with that baby and not do anything. I know he is concerned that EJ is going to disown him when he finds out that he knew and didn's say anything. But I still think he would do something.

Here is what I read in the ***spoilers***

Nicole finally breaks down and decides to tell EJ the truth. She tells him about having a miscarraige and about faking the pregnancy and "buying" a replacement child. At this point EJ is furious with her for deceiving him. (At some point, EJ actually cries with tears running down his face.) Nicole starts to tell him the rest, but EJ isn't listening anymore and he orders her and Sydney out of the mansion.

He is not doing it because he doesn't love Sydney. He is doing it because he believes the real father of the child will show up and take her away. He wants to cut the ties now and get all the pain over with.

Their conversation gets interrupted I think when Chole shows up and tells them that Stephano was rushed to the hospital.

Nicole asks Chloe to watch Sydney and they rush to the hospital. At some point Sami enters the picture, and Chloe asks Sami to babysit Sydney because she has to leave.

Sami takes Sydney to the hospital with her and that's when EJ tells Sami about Nicole's lies. EJ confides in Sami because he still feels "connected" to her on some level. He may even still love her in a way.

EJ will forgive Nicole because he loves her.

That is the spoilers.

Here is what I think about Nicole and about what will happen: (This is just my opinion)

Nicole will not tell EJ that Sydney is really his and Sami's because she is afraid EJ will take Sydney and go back to Sami.

Nicole is going to be very upset, and Sami is going to be a friend and offer to let her stay with her until EJ cools off.

Sami is going to talk to both EJ and Nicole and put them back together with HER baby in tow. Not knowing, of course that Sydney is her child.

Thanks for the spoilers - I think Nicole has changed from her original plan in that she loves Sydney with all her heart - more than she loves EJ. Having the baby has changed her but doesn't make what she did right in anyway whatsoever. I feel for Nicole but want Sami to have her daughter back already. They drag the baby stuff out too long.

Bottom line: Nicole would rather keep Sydney because she sees that Sydney loves her unconditionally and she can't say the same for EJ. My opinion is that Nicole wanted EJ first and saw Sydney as a way to keep EJ. I think over time, she has changed and thought she needed to hold on to EJ to keep Sydney. She truly believes Sydney is her baby and has justified her horrible actions by choosing to believe that Sydney belongs to her and no one else.
