Not sure who Arianna thinks she is coming into Sami's home and jumping down her throat. Ari has never liked Sami and why? Because she everheard other people talk about her and made a decision before ever giving Sami a chance.

I wanted to smack her (Ari).

I guess I missed most of what you were seeing, I thougt Sami & Arianna were getting along rather well.

They were when Ari came back the second time. When she first arrived at Sami's, she jumped all over Sami and blamed her for Rafe not responding.

I was watching Friday's (USA) ep on SoapNet this morning. Think what I'm referring to happened then.

i would like to see Sami get a friend out of this her only TRUE friend is Lucas and he's in rehab and she is gonna need him to help her.....maybe Sami and Ari can become friends when Nicole shows her true colors

I agree. Sami needs a female friend. I thought maybe she and Stephanie would hang out more, since they are cousins and kind of in the same situation with their men, but that never panned out. Rafe always wanted Sami and Ari to be close, so it would be great if he would get his wish. If they bond, it would form a good relationship and make things a lot better with the SAFE relationship, as Ari now realizes just how much Rafe means to Sami.
I think the reason Ari acted the way she did the first time she came to Sami's was b/c she is so protective of Rafe and she was so worried about him. The second time was much better and they have agreed to work together.

Ari thinks she's not "good enough" for Brady, and she thinks Sami's not "good enough" for Rafe. I just wonder what being "good enough" has to do with anything?

It appears to me that both girls are suffering from low self-esteem due to mistakes they have made in their past.

Again, I agree with you. I have always thought that Sami suffered from low self-esteem. She told Rafe that she didn't deserve someone like him and the other day she told Ari that she would never be good enough for Rafe. She has made poor choices in the men she has been with until Rafe, and he is the only man who has made her feel that she is worth a lot and deserves to be happy. The others have always made her feel like she is less than she is. Considering that she didn't have a stable home life, it is no wonder that she is the way she is.
I am not sure about Ari, but I am guessing she is much the same way. I remember that Victor told her he had her background investigated and that she didn't have much growing up and always had to scrape for what she did have. If her choice of her boyfriend that she talks about is true, then she made poor choices,too, and didn't feel like she deserved better.

I'd love to see her and Sammi become close(just like Hope and Kayla). I think it would be interesting.
