I'm not sure what the writers will do with Mia once the baby switch storyline is over, I think if they want to keep her on the show that they will somehow make Nicole her real mother and if they want to write her out I think they will have her choose Chad over Will and either have them leave town or just not show them anymore ( a la Micky)

What are your thoughts? What do you think the future has in store for Mia?

I kinda think they'll make Mia Nicole's real daughter. If they did that, it would explain why Nicole grieved so much when Grace died (because Grace would have been her biological granddaughter). However, I could be totally wrong about that.

I can't wait till Sammi learns the whole truth I think (and hope) she stands by Mia!!

I like this move, however is it possible that Melanie could be Nicole's daughter? Now that would be of interest too.

When the whole truth comes out about the babies, I hope Sami and Mia will have a special bond. I don’t think Nicole will be Mia’s mom. I have always thought that Rafe and Sami should take Mia in, I don’t know what you would do with Will, but Mia needs a family too love her. Mia is always sticking up for Sami when Will gets mad at his Mom and Mia and Rafe bonded at the church a couple of days after the funeral. Safe would be a good role model for Mia.

I wish and hope mia is nicoles real daughter somehow the same with mel. jmo

I see Melanie as Nicole's daughter - at least the story is plausible given the relationship with Nicole and Melanie's father.

Leave Mia's parents who they are - not every youth in Salem has to be the result of baby switch or tampered DNA.

She'll be fine - Mickey and Maggie will take her in, she'll find her backbone against Nicole, and have a great life with Will.

How great would it be with all the drama Will's parents have been through for him to be the one to break the cycle and have a normal, healthy relationship!

Is there a spoiler I have missed?

Because everyone here is convinced that the show is going to show Nicole to have a daughter. Is this in the plans?

I never read anything about this happening in the future.

I don't think Mia will be Nicoles. Maybe she will turn out to be a Kate Roberts and Stefano love child's child that she gave up early on... and Stefano knows it and that's why he made Kate marry him!

Maybe Stefano will allow the first part of the lies to become public knowledge and he will keep Snydey under the pretense that she is Mia, and Mia is family... who knows... anything can happen in the soaps.

I think Mia said that her mom tried to raise her by herself and that it didn't work too well because they had no money and her mother's boyfriends were mean to her and sometimes mean to Mia too.

So, I think Mia knows who her mother is. It is her father that is never mentioned. I think perhaps Mia does not know who her father is.

Please don't make her someone's hidden, long lost child.

I think Nicole's grief over Grace was in reliving her miscarriage along with having delivered Grace (and making a connection with her).

Perhaps some good can come out of all this in forcing Nicole to do good some how. Maybe she will front (someone else's) money to help Mia start a dance school. We haven't seen anything about Mia's dancing since she left Japan nor have we heard her sing since the funeral.
