Hello everyone,

Due to the frequency of the, who should Sami be with threads, we are opening a debate thread strictly for that purpose. In here you can debate which guy you think Sami should be with. Whether it be EJ, Lucas, or Rafe, this is the place for it.

We are opening this with the intentions of clearing the boards of multiple threads pertaining to this topic as well as giving everyone the place to debate for their favorite pairing.

Remember, though you may have strong opinions of who should win Sami’s heart, to use tact in your posts and keep it friendly. If you are caught bashing a fellow poster, you will be automatically banned for three days.

Ok, let me start this off by Saying my 1st choice would be Lumi, then second would be Safe but I really have NO desire to see a Sami and EJ pairing

Hmmmmm...
He's a great dad with a good heart, but I find Lucas boring/annoying and not "strong" enough for Sami, EJ is strong, and also H-O-T... but is an evil Dimera who has committed and keeps committing unforgivable sins, and Rafe is also H-O-T but apparently has too many ghosts in his past and has trust issues...

Someone mentioned on another thread that they would like to see Sami with Dr. Dan. the more I think about it, the more that idea grows on me....

You are brave, very brave but I can see where your coming from. All great super couples go through stuff before they become one. Rafe and Sami will be just that a super couple. I think when it is all said and done the ghost in Rafe closet will be something Sami can handle. I love Ej and Sami when Ej was good. It has been to long since they have been together. They do have chemistry but heat does not give you forever. So my first vote is Rafe, then Ej and Lucas if they had to. I love his character I just did not like them together. I miss the old Sami, the lying cheating brat that would give old Elvis a run for his money. But, I think the writers are trying to grow Sami up. So, in my humble opinion Rafe is the man if he can't do it no one can.

I love the banter that goes on between Sami and Lucas, but imo they are much better together as friends rather than lovers, she can never live up to his expectations, he wants perfection and let's face it,she has her flaws.. I like Rafe, he is smart and sweet and kind but i think there is a lack of fire between the two of them .. When i watch a soap couple, I like to see,passion,drama and chemistry,and that's what i see with Ej and Sami..So my final decision is of course is Ejami..

Rafe IS the perfect man for Sami. He's thoughtful, kind, gracious, funny, witty, handsome, intelligent, dedicated and again a good father to her kids...did I also mention that he's handsome! Sami loves Rafe and they belong together. SAFE=SUPERCOUPLE

Rafe is the best thing that has ever happened to Sami-- just like she said to him. He is a strong, kind, supportive, loving, gentle, sweet man who has risked his life for Sami and her child. He would do anything for her-- no strings attached. He is dedicated to both Sami and her children. He loves her kids like they were his own. A man like that is hard to find!!
Rafe is definitely, IMO, the best man for Sami.

My first choice is for a Lumi reunion but if it ends that the writers arenen't going to be true to the history of DOOL I would settle for safe( Id rather watch Rafe makin out with Sammi than the gloved one (as he still makes my stomach turn!!). I can't stoamach ejami and am willing to admit while I won't stop watching DOOL I would definitley ffw thru any scenes with EJ in it(if they put this "couple"(if they can even be called that) back together, even if that inclused a sammi scene. If the gloved one isn't in Sammi's scenes though I could watch her all day)!! Long live LUMI!!!

eDITED TO ADD: sAMMI NEVER WANTED TO BE A BAD PERSON. sHE WASN'T LIKE HEY i WANNA SCREW WITH PEOPLE AND WATCH THEM SQUIRM. mOST OF sAMMI'S "EVIL DOINGS" WERE MISGUIDED ATTEMPTS @ LOVE(srry noticed I was writing in caps and Im too lazy to fix it) so why would the bad guy be the one for her? Sammi (unless im wrong and have been under a rock this whole time)Samantha Jean Brady wants to be Like her mom, Hope Aunt Kayla (etc.) and be a good upstanding citizen. or did I miss something? Ive watched this show for over 34 years (and remember @ least the last 25) and thats the way I always saw it as did my mom(who stopped watching when Ej tricked Sammi into his bed(with lies and manipulation) my mom had watched DOOL from the very first epi (with her mom). She keeps saying when they get back to the real days let me know! Im begining to see her point!!

Ok here's my 2 cents.. Ej and Sami will probably always be star crossed lovers, they have a bond with their children, but I don't see them back together. they are more like oil and water.
Lucas and Sami, are in a diferent place now. I used to think they belonged together, however I think its important that they remain friends. Their past together is just that..their past. Both characters have matured and it feels right.
So my pick would be (drum roll please!!) RAFE. He has accepted her and all of her warts, loves her and wants to protect her and is an all around stand up guy. Not to mention HOT HOT HOT,,

Kat (admin) I like how u think. We fanbases do get a little colorful so this should be fun, with a lil tact.

All kidding aside though and back to the subject.
Ok first n foremost. Rafe, Rafe, Rafe, Rafe! The only pick. I for one can't stand in the way of SOULMATES. Once this term has been used in Soaps, well, it's a done deal, aka, the real deal. Goooo Safe! Toot! Toot!

Now this doesn't mean I don't like Ej as a character but I like him evil and evil n happily ever after with Sami just don't mix. I like it when they fight. Although they haven't even done that very good in recent shows. Just something about Ej pushing that stroller around takes a lil of the edge off him. I just can't see Brady and Sami being 2 afraid of him while pushing this prop. Maybe if he tried to run over the toes with it, naaa, DITCH THE STROLLER (not the baby)!

I like Lucas too! My alternative pick (only if Rafe was killed, God forbid!) I'm no Lumi fan either though b/c I really like that he's a friend. They play that role together much better, I think.

Rafey boi is the perfect man so i think Sami should be with him, married and live happy forever. I love the way he is with her and her family. He's got that certain something that most woman want. Well at least i do. But, I love Lucas too and if she chooses him, i'll be happy too.

With that said, i'm a huge SAFE fan and pray the writers give us alittle of the romantic, loving family thing that they used to give us. The drama can be with the Dimera family and EJ can stay bad and with Nicole or some other evil witch.

Kathryn, GREAT IDEA!! Thanks so much for creating this thread!!

First and foremost, I am a LUMI and I will always want Sami and Lucas to be together. If they are loving or hating each other, their chemistry is explosive. They are great friends in real life (which just makes me happy) and they make great lovers on screen. I love their history, I love that Lucas took her to the prom, I love how they have forgiven each other for ALL of their past mistakes (and they know about all of them)...I think they are the heart and soul of what Days used to be and what Days should be again.

Now, if I may, why Sami doesn't belong with Ej...IMO, it will never work. Sami may have done some awful things but she could never and would never look past Ej's evil deeds and the fact that she doesn't know about half of them makes me angry. Ej played Mr. Nice guy for a while and not everyone, but a lot of fans, including his supporters, didn't like that Ej..he is best as a bad guy and Sami would never love or accept him as such. Sami wants a good man, and Ej does not fall into that catagory.

Now, what is wrong with Sami and Rafe...I got nothing other than the fact that I like her better with Lucas. I got no argument or debate on why Rafe should not be with Sami other than I just like Lucas with Sami better...LUMI's history is top notch...they were together as kids..grew up..made mistakes and finally found that their best friend/enemy/cohort was their perfect match.

If Rafe ends up with Sami..they better get Lucas a super hot storyline....If Ej ends up with Sami, I know that Days I love is no more. If LUMI ends up together..well, the Days I love will return to it's roots and I will be one happy fan

Lucas- Been there, done that. The are so awesome as best friend, but as lovers, mommy always got in the way.

Rafe- please wake me up from this nightmare. They are good as friend. Rafe cannot tame Samantha Jean Brady.

EJ- is the only one who can tame the wild Samantha. He gives her adventure, challenge and romance. He always stood by Sami and became a better man for her. EJami is Endgame.
