For the person who wanted to know what kind of things have happened in past story line from the vets:

Here's one example:

When John and Marlena first started seeing each other, he was in love with her but could not commit to her. There was something from his past he needed to tell her about, but he had to get some "things" settled before he could do that.

In the meantime, Marlena's sister was killed by the Salem Stalker who thought she was Marlena. Marlena had a very difficult time accepting her twin sister's death, blaming herself, etc.

Roman took her to Mexico to recuperate and heal from the pain of losing her sister. After a few days, Marlena began to feel better, and they both realized that they were deeply in love with each other. Then, a baby shoe washed up on the beach and Roman got very sad.

That's when Roman told her his secret. He was married. A few years earlier he and his pretty wife were expecting a baby and they went out on a fishing boat or something and the boat overturned. Hard as he tried to save her, he somehow lost her in the water. He was rescued, and they searched and searched for pregnant Anna, but she was not found. He had to have Anna declared dead before he could commit to Marlena.

A couple years, later; Anna and little Carrie did turn up in Salem. She had been rescued and held hostage by pirates or something; but she finally escaped.

Maybe Arianna is one of those psycho sisters who doesn't feel anyone is good enough for her brother and he doesn't want Sami to find out because if she does, he'll have another death to cover up. LOL! just a thought.

Let's throw out a really off the wall theory.

This one involves Bo's visions. The visions Bo has of Zach are different than his other visions. They seem more real. Let's suppose that Emily was a nurse or a doctor; and that she once worked for Stephano.

When Zach gave his liver to Claire, they only took part of his liver because Claire was a little baby and they didn't need all of it. Zach could have lived with a partial liver, I think the liver regenerates or something...

Then, when they took him off life support, he started breathing on his own, but Emily was the one who was there; and Stephano forced her to steal him and replace his body with another one that looked just like him.

Emily took care of Zach and nursed him back to health in Stephano's lab. She fell in love with the little boy and escaped with him during the time that Stephano was so ill.

She felt that returning him to his parents would put his life in jeopardy and that it would put him in too close proximity to Stephano who would try to capture him again. Stephano planned to make Zach his new "pawn" much the way he used John.

She and Zach hid out in witness protection where she met Rafe. Rafe fell in love with Emily and was helping her protect Zach. They were going to get married, but Stephano found Emily and had her killed on their wedding day.

When Zach first woke up, he did not remember who he was; but his memory slowly returned and Emily told him the whole story of who he was and told him he could not go back to his family because it would put his life in danger and possibly the lives of his whole family.

There was something else different about Zach. Because of his near-death experience, he became clairvoyant. He can see the future a month or two ahead. This is where Bo's visions are coming from. Zach is communicating with Bo telepathically.

Emily had told Rafe that if anything happened to her, he must do everything he could to keep Zach from falling in to the hands of Stephano. Rafe did not get assigned to be Sami's guard by accident as it seemed. He volunteered for the assignment as he knew that she was a Brady who was hiding from a hitman possibly hired by Stephano. He thought by getting close to her, and maybe bringing Stephano down, he could find a way to return Zach to his family.

He left Zach with Arianna who also fell in love with him. She took the job at the pub in order to help Zach keep tabs on his real family.

Rafe ended up finding another woman who was running from the DiMeras and another woman with a child who must be protected from them. He also fell in love again. This is why Arianna thinks the Sami and Emily situation is so similar. It's also why Rafe cannot tell Sami the whole story about Emily.

Zach pretty much stays out of sight, but occassionally; he surfaces when he needs to help Bo protect a member of his family. Bo, of course, thinks Zach is dead; so whenever he sees him; he just thinks it is part of the visions he thinks he is having.
