I thought it would be fun for each of us to try and guess what all the mystery is surrounding Rafe's dead fiance' and the circustances of her death. |

Maybe Rafe was doing something for the FBI like maybe investgated the mob and they found out who he was working for and went after Emily on their wedding day. My idea sounds like a plot for the Godfather. |

I think possibly Ari was involved with someone who was linked to Emily's death. She is so scared of Rafe telling Sami. but she is definitely linked to Emily's death some how. Sunny, how r u ? It's been a while since we've connected? How is your summer? |

I just dont see Rafe doing anything that aweful that will make Sami not love him. So i'm hoping its not a big deal about this Emily s/l. I think its going to fizzle out before long. |

But i will assume the ejamis such as yourself will love him that way. After all you guys like the bad boys. Me, not so much. As long as he isnt evil, a schemer, user, killer and kidnapper i might forgive him and keep my Safe fanhood. We shall see. Definately email me ... we'll try to meet. |

You got me as an Ejami fan I would love that. But I think Rafe could even appeal a bit more to the audience. It just seems as bad as Ej is we still love him. I know we are loyal til the end, but so are you Rafe fans. i just a times find his character to be so emotionless, so I'm thinking if they show a different side to Rafe his scenes might have more of an impact. I will definitely email you. I've missed chatting with u.

Great question! We had a similar theory in the SAFE thread where someone stated that Maybe.... Rafe and Arianna's family ties are mobsters. They are targeted and killed Rafe's finance. They are the next mobster family who will bump heads with the Dimera's. However, Rafe and Arianna have been running away from this all thier lives, hint the tragic childhood they keep stating they had. But it seems to always catch up to them..... |

I think something happened to Ari and Rafe in their childhood which affected their mom and he couldn't save or protect her, so he and Ari took off to the convent where the nuns protected them and Rafe turned his life around. i remember him saying to Will that if you walk away from your mom like this you will tell yourself it's right, but it will eat away at you and it will never be right-- it just seemed like he said that from experience. Rafe joined the FBI or ISA to try and help clean up the drug lords and an opposing family killed Emily to get back at him and his family. Maybe Ari has been hiding out for awhile and is still in some fear for her life. Rafe is afraid if he tells Sami the whole truth, her life will be in danger,too. He certainly wants to protect her and I think his "anger" last week was more out of fear than anything else. He has also protected Ari in the past b/c she told him that he had done so much for her before so she was wrong about him helping Sami. |
