I think Lucas and Sami had a friendship, kinda like flirting type.... but then she started to like Alan. Of course we know what happened there. Then Carrie was dating Austin and didn't stick up for Sami in the rape trial and I think Sami resented her for that. So she set her sights on Austin to take him away from Carrie and punish her sister. I don't know if Sami was in love with him, but because he was nice to her she convinced herself she had to have him. Of course around this time Lucas and Sami slept together for the first time and that's when she got pregnant with Will. Then came Franco, I think Austin again when Carrie left him for Mike, Brandon, then Lucas, then Austin, then EJ for a month or so, then Lucas, then she slept with EJ while Lucas was in prison, then she went running back to Lucas when he got out and now she's with Rafe. I'm sure Lucas will be back in her life, he always is.

I know Sami saw Austin for the first time in an elevator and crushed immediately. I think Carrie had already met him...they lived in the same apt. building (Sami and Lucas's apts., now Daniel's apt and who knows who lives in Lucas's apt now) So Carrie would talk to Sami about Austin, never saying his name, and visa verse and Carrie I think finally introduced Sami to Austin at a party. Austin saw Sami as the little sister type and was falling in love with Carrie. I guess the rape trial turned Sami against Carrie...I was fuzzy on why..I guess I thought it was just because Sami wanted what Carrie had. As for the order..I'm not sure, I just know that Lucas and Sami always find their way back to eachother. I will keep the faith that they will again.

Yes Sami had a crush on Austin and wanted Carrie to see the guy she was swooney over and up walks Austin and embraces Carrie and right after that Carrie got acid thrown in her face and Carrie and Austin were on the outs. And after findingout Carrie and Austin were an item, Sami sought her mother and saw her with John on the conference table. No wonder that Sami is so messed up.
And after Sami was the town joke after shooting Alan, she went to I believe it was the Cheatin' Heart and had drinks thrown on her by some jerks and Lucus got her out of there so she could go to take a shower and put on different clothes because she was living with grandma and didn't want to smell of booze. That's when Sami and Lucas were first intimate and from that day on I was a LUMI fan.
